It was my first time here, and I was disappointed. I ordered the satay chix, which I have had in many places ..it was tough and obviously has been cooked earlier. The orchid noodles, while tasty, had very few vegetables. The mango salad, I must day, was excellent! It was 3:00 when I went, so I will try again, closer to mealtime?

I've never had better chinese food than here. We've been trying a few local places we used to like back in the day but the quality just hasn't been the greatest lately. The modern orchid is a refreshing exception to this trend and I couldn't have been more satisfied I don't think. We got the combination c9 I believe which has sweet n sour chicken balls, beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice and egg roll, and everything was fresh, crispy, hot and delicious....

Mandat was an amazing server. The food was delicious with 0 complaints. Came out hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.

Kid-friendliness: So nice, gave us a complementary ice cream for the kids.
