I had the immense pleasure of dining at Oxalis for the first time with Andrea, and it truly exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked in, I was transported into a different world! This week, it’s a beautifully crafted tribute to Harry Potter. Every detail, from the decor to the ambiance, was thoughtfully woven into the theme, creating an experience that was both immersive and elegant.
The food? Simply extraordinary. Each dish was a perfect balance of finesse and delicate artistry. You could feel the care and intention behind every bite & flavors that were both comforting and refined, with a touch of creative magic that made the entire evening unforgettable. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a heartfelt experience that celebrated both food and imagination.
This is, without a doubt, the best dining experience I’ve had in Nova Scotia. I left with a full heart, a delighted palate, and deep gratitude for the passion and talent of the team behind this evening.

We celebrated my birthday here. The service was great, thank you Steven (I hope I’ve spelt your name correctly). The bartender’s drinks were top notch when I asked them to surprise me based on my likes.
The food was amazing. It was presented beautifully but the taste was out of this world. We loved the amuse bouche and the PEI Blue Dot Trio. The atmosphere is intimate but lovely, not overbearing or too loud.
We will be back!

Just come and try!! Having a huge experience in Europe before, I would say this place can get 9 from 10! 🎉 A very unique food experience we had! 👏The food was awesome! Duck was unbelievable! (a tiny kind note: add a bit more pasta and blackberries, because duck tastes perfect with a them! and probably, think about switching the potato to the other seasonal local vegetables). Beef was awesome! (also a kind tiny note; have some upgrades for the potato puree, but the concept is perfect, all taste great! Margarita cocktail was great,✨ could think about serving it with fanciest glass😉🍸 Service was great! And they brought us 2 wonderful macaroons before meals, and 2 chocolate macaroons after, as a compliments. Appreciate that!🙌 I wish they could have more options of desserts that time, but we could come back for them, no doubt! Thanks! ❤️

Incredible experience, what a lovely inspired menu and WOW attention to detail. The drinks were memorable and the recommended wine perfect. I wouldn't do the menu justice if I try and describe it, but the Halibut was indeed special. Maybe a slight tiny smidge overcooked for me, but very flaky and tender and with the exceptional macademia crust the dish was simply exquisite. Every single bite from amuse bouche to desert was incredibly balanced, thoughtful, and intricately crafted. Oxalis is very much haute cuisine with absolutely zero pretentiousness! If you're looking for a special dining experience, I can not recommend it enough. Our host and server Stephen were honest, helpful, and authentic, again without any pretense.
They definitely know what they're doing there, and it works! Worth every penny! 10/10 will go again!
