We visit Dartmouth often and wanted to find a nearby Chinese Restaurant with excellent food for takeout ( new baby in the house). This place did not disappoint- we ordered all our favourites and will going back again. The Ginger Beef was first rate- crispy with a little kick of ginger ( not too sweet or soggy). We loved the General Tao chicken as well. The two noodle dishes we ordered were perfect- our favorite is the curry laced Singapore vermicelli noodles - with the right blend of pork, shrimp and vegetables as well as the crispy Chow Mein noodles. Our 5 th dish was new for us but I really liked the stir fry of Vietnamese vegetables with shrimp to round out the meal. It was a very satisfying meal- all the dishes had different flavours- and portions were generous enough to feed 4 adults for 2 meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the Chinese food. Maybe we will go back and try the pho next time although it’s hard to pass up their Ginger Beef.

I’ve ordered from this place before. They’re friendly and their food has been good. Even after seeing the social media post of the chickens drying out on top of the green bins I still supported, silly me! Unfortunately, tonight was the last order for me. Not only did I find 1, not 2, but 3!!! Large strands of hair in the ginger beef…. AND then the beef and broccoli. I was so mortified I didn’t say anything to my guests, I went to the kitchen to inspect the rest of the food. Sorry folks. Won’t be returning.

I’ll preface this saying that I am Vietnamese, and I’ve had Vietnamese Cuisine globally.
The cuisine here is authentic Vietnamese and a good spot to get your fix, especially in a town like Dartmouth.
The palate of the cuisine tastes more northern than south, but I don’t have a fact check for that.
Ordering in Vietnamese was troublesome as the waiters(the kids) seem like they didn’t understand me.
The mom knew how to speak Vietnamese and she was very nice.
I’d eat here again.

Outstanding. We came here on a rainy day to enjoy some pho. Turns out they also have Chinese food and they do both really well. The restaurant is warm and comfortable and the food is really tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. In addition to the special Pho, I had a combo that included an egg roll, chicken, fried rice and honey garlic spare ribs. Sooooo good.
Updated review in 2024. Prices have gone up, understandable, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has dropped substantially since my last visit a year ago. It used to be one of my favourite places for good food and good value. I ordered my usual #15 tonight and it was missing peanuts, bean sprouts, green onion and the side sauce was sickly sweet, not the complex yummy flavour it used to be. I will go back once more in a few months to determine if this was just a bad night or if the quality has really gotten that bad. I can no longer recommend this place based on tonight's experience.
