This was my first time trying a donair, and Robert’s Donair Pizza did not disappoint — it was phenomenal! I was traveling through the area looking for a late dinner, and I’m so glad this spot was open. The pizza had amazing flavor, and the medium size was more than enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The staff was welcoming and even laughed along when I admitted I’m not a fan of tomatoes 😊. Parking is available nearby, though space is limited, so plan ahead. If you’re passing through Dartmouth or Halifax, definitely put this place on your list!

I drove from Halifax to get their pizza and garlic fingers today, did not disappoint.
It was so yummy!
And the 3 people working today were awesome to chat with, they were so friendly.

I wish it was better. The couple who own it are Gems. So nice and the service is amazing.
The Donair…..unfortunately the meat was dry and shaved much to thick. Good sauce and the portions are excellent.
It just didnt measure up to a Halifax Donair

Amazing donairs. Got a large, really good size and the meat tastes awesome. Price is reasonable came to 21$ taxes in. Highly recommended for a good size and priced donair. Ready 20 minutes after calling.

My fiancé and I traveled from Calgary and figured we had to try an authentic East Coast donair. We ordered the Belly Buster, thinking, how big could it really be? Well… the pictures say it all—the shock on our faces was real when it arrived!

The owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, genuinely excited to have visitors from so far away. You can tell they truly love what they do and take pride in sharing how they craft their famous donairs.

For fun, we even took it back to the hotel gym and weighed it—8.5 lbs! This donair by far is the best we have ever had! I would definitely come back for more!

Used to go here often for takeout prior to moving out of province. Returned and obviously had to have it again and it was just as good as I remembered! Highly recommend this place for great pizza and donairs.

Walked into this place in 1999, when I was 17. It was after midnight and we were coming from a wedding with a bathtub filled with beer. Somehow when the front desk guy at our hotel gave us directions to a restaurant, we misheard him and took a right instead of a left. Found our way to the place an hour or so later and was informed of recent "goin' ons" in the neighborhood. The delivery driver, drove these 2 naive teenage Islanders back to the hotel to make sure we got there. Good times. Slices were worth it. Thanks!
