Ordered two orders of clams and chips. Portion size was tiny, clams were chewy and old, hardly battered. One of the orders had dark curly hair fried into the clam itself. The inside is dark and dumpy... imagine what the kitchen looks like!

We recently visited this restaurant as my cousins from Ontario were eager to try some seafood during their visit. Since it was Easter Day, we called ahead to confirm whether the restaurant was open. The person on the phone assured us they were accepting orders and told us to come in.
However, when we arrived, someone came outside and informed us that the restaurant had decided to close for the day due to a lack of customers and its not worth to open and pay staff. When we mentioned that we had just called to confirm, the response was unexpectedly rude. The individual asked the staff if anyone had answered a call after he decided to close, and they denied receiving any calls.
Unfortunately, this turned into a very unpleasant experience. During their four-day visit, my cousins repeatedly praised how kind, respectful, and friendly people in Nova Scotia are—but this encounter left them quite surprised. We also had a young child with us, which made the situation even more disappointing. While we understand that plans can change and the decision to close may have come shortly after our call, it could have been communicated in a more courteous and respectful manner.

The place walking in you can see that every window frame is rotten in the place only old paint in the shape of the window frames remain ordered the ultimate seafood platter and received 2 large pieces of fish the fish was good but the batter was very soggy and oily ,3 of the smallest scallops I have seen in my life and once again the batter was oily and soggy as for the clams they were the same as everything else oily and soggy and could tell that the fry oil needed to be changed and was not hot enough to cook the food properly my partner ordered the nachos that came with enough cheese on them that I was thinking they had salt bae in the back sprinkling the cheese on them and the cheese that was on them was not melted one bit definitely will not go back and was not happy

Who works here? All the burgers were bland...
The boyfriend and I had lasagna with garlic toast and ceasar salad. It was delicious and just the right amount.
