This was my first ever visit to this second cup cafe and i had heard one specific drink to be famous here. But the staff closed the cafe before the time. Online it said 9 pm to close but they closed at 8 pm. And it was just above 8 pm that i reached . I went through the front door and they immediately ran to lock the door and then denied me service at drive through. First and last experience here.

Hours on Google are not the actual hours of operation at this Dartmouth crossing location. They are indeed not open until 9 and apparently close 1 hour prior to 9 as Google advises.

Didnt feel welcomed at all. Went to order, wasn’t mentioned about the second cup loyalty program(eventually found out when I logged in on the wifi). I decided to sign up and get myself another drink for free by using the app. One of the employee’s(south Asian looking guy, not sure exactly) was making fun of the drink I ordered, not knowing that it was me who ordered it. He was very rude, and ruined my day. Was going to address to a manager but had to run out due to a personal matter. Hope this issue gets addressed
Today, me and my friends and I came here in the afternoon. The front door had a paper on it, which said " closed at 2pm ". After reading that we went it because we saw people coming out from it WITH COFFEE!!!!. After going in , we saw people there working. It was still 1.57, and we had the right to order. My friend went to the cashier to order, but he declined, saying we are closing at 2 pm. We were shocked to hear that they refused to take our order since they did serve to other customers. I believe that happened with us because me and my friends and I are not from this country. This racist behavior should not be acceptable. Any immigration who is seeing this should understand that there might be a chance that they will do the same to you. There are so many restaurants/fast food places that take your order before closing time. I myself am a food service worker. I can understand that taking orders at the last moment can be frustrating. But you also need to remember that you are someone who is representing the brand, which in this case was the second cup. Now I don't remember who the guy was, but I remember that it happened in the second cup. For me, the reputation of this brand has gone low. I will not come back here again, and neither my friends.
