I called Smokey's to get lunch delivered to my husband and his co-worker. Delivery is not a service that Smokey's offer, however the lovely lady I spoke to agreed to deliver it herself as it was not far away. Service like this is not the norm anymore, it warms my heart to know there are still people that care. Also, the 'boys' said the cheeseburger platters were delicious!

Was in nova Scotia on business, stopped here for lunch and had possibly the worst fish and chips I had in my life. Soggy and oily fish not to mention black same with the fries. Frier oil needs changed for sure.

Sadly, this is the last time I will ever eat here. After decades of great, affordable food, this was so bad I'm just hoping I don't end up with unfortunate gastro results. No masks, no gloves, no handwashing, and the restaurant hasn't been cleaned in far too long. The fries were so overcooked they were dry as sawdust and the gravy couldn't save them. The fish was extremely dark brown and crunchy, and reeked of rancid oil, leading me to wonder just how long it's been since the fryer oil was changed, or if the fryers have EVER been cleaned. And I've never seen tartar sauce that was so yellow it looked like armpit stains - it certainly shouldn't have smelled as bad as it did, either. So now I'm sitting here with less money and I've already binned the takeout container because I couldn't eat it, so I'm also starving. Great day.

Been going downhill for awhile now. I've been supporting this place for decades but no longer can. Disgusting clubhouse and fries today. 75% of the fries were old ones that had been fried numerous times. My friend saw him add the few fresh fries on top of the old ones but didn't get my attention and I had already paid. Rather than cause a scene with the old guy,I've decided instead to take my decades of business elsewhere. Many of my coworkers stopped going long ago and I'll be joining them
