I've heard terrible things about this place! Constantly making my friends sick

I ordered beef pad Thai extra noodle extra beef and extra spicy. Today is Monday not too much people there is no way he forget what I ordered. It’s not spicy at all and very salty. I don’t even think that’s extra beef, and the noodle is a little hard to chew. Very disappointed. Bad cooker.

I will not be returning to the Thai Express at Mic Mac Mall. This location did a horrible job making Pad Thai, to start there was far more sauce than needed and I mean a lot. Almost soup and it was overpowering. Then they forgot to add the meat to the dish. This also did not taste like the other locations in the HRM and $40 for 2 Pad Thai and one pop only to have it taste off and not enjoyable doesn't feel wort it so I will not be returning to this location.

After nobody taking my order for about five minutes until I was noticed, I ordered the basil rice, with tofu and vegetables. There was pineapple and tomato in it, which is never in it and a piece of chicken was in it as well. In my vegetarian food. Disgusting.

Used to enjoy it but place has really gone downhill. Didn't have past add-ons of crushed peanuts, lime pieces or bottles of hoisin or chili sauce. Was given tiny ketchup type packet of hoisin which was dried up. Only one person working who cooked and took orders. Wasn't asked how spicy I wanted the soup and broth was too salty. I'm done.

I went to Thai Express to have Pad Thai, but had a very disappointing experience. There were two staff members working, and even though we were clearly standing at the counter, no one greeted us or acknowledged that we were waiting. We stood there for almost 15 minutes, and neither of them made any effort to let us know they’d take our order soon.
After waiting that long, I finally had to speak up and tell them that I wanted to order food. The lack of basic customer service, greeting, and attention was really frustrating. I’ve always liked Thai Express food, but this kind of service really puts a bad impression on the place.

I had a great experience at Thai Express in Mic Mac Mall! The food was fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and served with a smile. The place was clean and the service was quick — perfect for a lunch break or casual meal. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and Green Curry! I’ll definitely be coming back again

Stopped in for lunch on a long weekend Sunday. No one else was in line, and the gentleman at the counter was friendly enough. I ordered the General ThaiRacha, which was prepared in record time, almost too fast.

At first glance, the portion looked decent. But once I started eating, it was clear something was off. The chicken tasted stale, like it had been sitting around for days, with dense, dry batter and very little actual meat. Given how quickly it was cooked, that sadly made sense.

To make matters worse, I found a hair in the dish that looked suspiciously similar to the man’s beard.

Hair aside, the $18.91 price tag for what felt like reheated leftovers doesn’t sit right. It seems corners are being cut to live up to the “Express” name, prioritizing speed and profit over freshness and quality.

I won’t be returning to this location. If I decide to give Thai Express another try, it’ll be at the Halifax Shopping Centre, where the team actually cooks meals fresh in front of customers instead of rushing them out.

Ordered Pad Thai from Thai Express at 21 Mic Mac Mall on Saturday, and it was honestly the worst dinner I’ve ever had from this chain. The noodles were undercooked and unpleasantly chewy. I specifically asked for chicken, but only received four tiny pieces. I also requested no egg, yet it was included anyway. The dish were overly sweet, which completely threw off the flavor balance. Very disappointed. I’ve had decent meals from Thai Express before, but this was a major letdown.
