The Bao Journey @ Lockside Canteen

A perfect fall afternoon meal. The chow mein with braised pork was so flavourful and enough for 2 ppl. We also had a Bao bbq pork bun which was amazing.

Impressive! I tried the steamed pork buns, the chow mein with pork and the coconut tart. All so tasty! There are picnic tables in the park and trails to walk around the duck pond. Lovely! Highly recommend!

The food and service were both amazing. I ordered the chow men noodles with brazed pork and I was amazed with the portion size and quality! I will be coming back again.

The food was delicious and so was the iced coffee!

What's better than a picnic in the park?
We got a steamy BBQ pork bun, we got veggie rolls, deep fried siu mai, and a hotdog in a Taiwanese crepe.
The crepe was hot and crispy, I loved it! The pile of peppers were nice to snack on...we've never had deep fried siu mai before, either. Those were great!
The lady running the stand was so sweet and kind.
These were perfect park snacks after roaming around for a couple hours. :3
We have been talking about it all day and we will come back!

I had the pleasure of trying Ivy's pineapple buns and they are absolutely perfect! Will definitely recommend them! 👏🏻
