Best place to eat in Dartmount, I always make the stop here when I am in Nova Scotia. The drinks and food is absolutely delicious and the service is great! We had the crobster roll and scallops, the seafood was very fresh and flavourful. I always recommended this restaurant to friends and family when they visit the east coast. Highly recommended!
Randomly stopped here and glad we did. French fries were awesome and we got the fried green tomato blt which was their special of the day and it was really yummy we also got the haddock burger which was also great.
I am visiting from Ottawa and the Canteen was recommended by a friend. I’m so glad I took the recommendation. The seafood chowder was the best I’ve had in my life. The seafood was a generous portion and the flavor was outstanding. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
