We sat on the bar side so my husband could watch the game. So the atmosphere isn't as nice as the restaurant side. But that's to be expected right? I love the Keg! The food is always outstanding! I moved here from Calgary, 9 yrs ago. And here in Halifax my fav keg is in Dartmouth. The service is always impeccable! Thank you!
Reservation was for 8:00 as we could not book it sooner. We arrived around 7:30 and got a table early. Our waitress was outstanding. Fun, efficient and attentive. We felt we were treated like family. She recommended the special and it was fantastic. We were looked after right to the end of our meal. Even if the food wasn't fantastic we would go back just for the outstanding service. But the food was great. Too bad it's a 4 hour drive away from home.
The food was super, delicious: Caesar salad, and lovely warm crusted bread, melt in your mouth steak, garlic mashed potatoes, beets, beans, and mushrooms. It was very busy and not as quiet as we like but that's to be expected for a Saturday evening. Billy Minor pie also delicious and comped for the birthday.👏👍 Thanks so much!
