Let me start by saying the sticky toffee pudding was incredible! Moist and delicious! Good thing because the rest of the meal was horrendous and the service wasn’t much better. I’m not sure what’s happened to this restaurant in the past few years. It used to be considered a high end restaurant and the food matched that. A couple from New Brunswick used to own it, but maybe it’s changed owners. If so, the new owners need to do better. The restaurant was very busy (6:00 on a Friday night). I had the steak sandwich with fries. Firstly, the server (didn’t get her name because she didn’t tell us/short, dark cool hair cut) was not friendly at all. It was like we were bothering her to wait on us. She seemed annoyed that place was so busy. When she took my order she didn’t ask what I wanted for a side, but proceeded to take orders from everyone else. I asked her what sides they had she was done the other orders. What was she planning on bringing me if she didn’t know my preference??? When I received my order, the au jus went to my friend and her gravy was on my plate . (They are in the same type of container). We just split the side of gravy. We had to ask other servers to top up our water because our server didn’t come back to see how the meal was, to top up our water, etc. My steak sandwich was as the worst piece of meat I’ve ever tasted. I had to open up the sandwich to cut out the fat and grissol in the meat. I asked for it to be cooked well done and on my receipt it indicated medium rare. Guess that explains the pink look to it! At this point I should have sent the whole meal back, but I was very hungry and stuck with it. When the server came to get our plates, she failed to ask how the meal was. Maybe she knew I would have told her!!! I also am in the customer service business and take pride in my work. This server should probably get into a new line of work. I know people have lots of things going on in their lives, but I was always told to leave your troubles at the door and if want to pick them up on the way home, that’s your choice. I ALWAYS give servers good tips, but the food and the service was so bad, that this time I didn’t! There are lots of places to eat in Halifax and I doubt I will ever step inside this restaurant again!

I took 5 of my staff there for wing night. We arrived and were seated quickly, the restaurant was not overly busy. Our waiter was slow to bring drink menus and the drinks once we ordered, we placed our food order, we all ordered wings and 1 order of pretzel bites, the bites and most of the wings came out in a reasonable time, except my wings. Our waiter never returned for close to 20mins, when he finally came back I had to ask for my wings. When they finally arrived, after everyone else was done eating, they were absolutely drenched in sauce. So much that I had to shake some off to eat them. The wings were small and average tasting. Very disappointing experience.

Best tossed chicken fingers I’ve ever eaten in my life and I eat ALOT of chicken strips.
Stopped in for wing night the following week after eating the strips. This place is worth the visit. Even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. 5 stars for service and food. Keep up the good work!

Came out for a Wing Night with some work friends. The wings were excellent. I also grabbed the Asian tacos, which were served in bao buns and were fantastic. Next time, I'll bring my kids.

Came here to wrap up our day trip, met with excellent staff and some of the fastest service we've ever had, food was amazing and portions are generous. We had the 4 cheese Mac and cheese and the brisket poutine. Both were spectacular and absolutely worth a try.

Hidden gem! Best fish and chips around. Had to have it two nights in a row. Fantastic service by Maddie, who is a ray of sunshine! Would recommend this place to anyone for the quality, quantity, and service.
Parking: The restaurant is located inside the Best Western Plus and there is sufficient available for both.
Super cute hotel restaurant! All fried chicken dishes are perfectly cooked, and the fries are insanely good. Everything we've had (at least half a dozen meals) have been excellent. (At the time of posting, you also get a HUGE piece of carrot cake for free with delivery apps. It's ridiculously good.

Got the chicken avocado club with blackened candied bacon and roasted red pepper mayo with a side of hand cut seasoned fries? I was hoping it would live up to the description because it sounded amazing. It was better. 10/10 would recommend. Super lovely people too! A must if you're staying at the hotel or if you're in the area and want quality food!
