Attended mothers day bunch 2025. Some of the food was cold. Cost of buffet was 36.95 but tea/coffee not included.
Our server was great.
Meal was so-so.
Sadly the service is not as good as it once was. The website says opens at 4, there was no mention of opening earlier for mothers day and only taking take out orders from 2-4 on mother's day. How would anybody know that they are open 2 hours earlier on mothers day if there is no mention of it on the website. So with mothers day here and being house bound recovering from surgery we wait till 4 to place a order and I'm told sorry take out was from 2 - 4. I said but your hours on line nowhere said anything about this, infact it says you open at 4 not 2. I was told we could not order even though i called right at 4. Asked to speak to a manager and no manger was available to talk. I really hate to complain but if hours are gonna change for special days the website should be updated to specify this.
Extremely disappointed in the Vines Brunch for Easter. Brunch here has been a family favourite for a long time, however this past weekend it was merely a breakfast brunch. Other than soup and salad, there were no other lunch options. The food was simply fair, with most of the pastries, rock hard. This was nothing like the notorious brunch that we all enjoyed and looked forward to. There were always muscles and past for lunch options and pastries were heavenly. Service was simply fair and the server lacked knowledge. For $37 pp, I would never recommend this if the re-offer for Mother’s Day. Horribly disappointing!!
Unfortunately, the brunch experience has gone downhill from what it used to be. The only lunch options available were soup and salad, and the once-famous Caesar dressing was disappointingly watery and lacked flavor. The dessert table offered mostly donuts and cookies, which were hard and unappetizing. At $37 per person, the quality simply didn’t match the price. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
Went for a little date night with the wife! Had a great meal, couple drinks! Highly recommend. Small and cozy with a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend the buffet they have as well. Can't go wrong going to Vines
We came to the restaurant on Valentine’s Day; renowned for being a very busy evening. We were absolutely flabbergasted that no attempt to clear the parking lot had been made, following a severe ice storm. We could barely make it into the restaurant without falling and we are both very able bodied. We had a lovely meal that we thoroughly enjoyed but our mains took over a hour to arrive, as there were nowhere near enough servers working for a fully booked restaurant. The servers were very attentive and apologetic. Sadly we won’t be recommending the location to others.
The parking lot was a sheet of ice, a liability about to happen, two members of my party could not make it in. The meatballs were rubbery, did not finish, did not even get an offer to comp the meal. Very disappointed considering this was our first time there and also talking to the owner. *Update, got the refund, thank you.
We had risotto balls, which were ok and mushroom caps which said topped with tiger shrimp, not a single shrimp to be found.
For entrees, stuffed chicken that could have been from M and M meat market...terrible. The shrimp and scallop flame has lots of shrimp (4) and scallops (3). There was a Carsar salad supposed to come with the pasta, which never arrived but still charged $3.50 which was later removed. Not sure why the upcharge for the salad since it was supposed to be included.
All in all, an extremely disappointing meal for $120 including tip!! Definitely won't be back
Love the Vines. Amazing food and service. We have been going there for over 15 years and they never disappoint. Highly recommend:)
By far one of our favourite restaurants that we have been going to for over 15 years. The food and the service is amazing. Highly recommend the rice balls:)

I was there with my fiancé yesterday to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Normally when I go it is not as busy, but yesterday was different. The servers did their absolute best to manage a full house, and the food was worth the wait! Can’t wait to come back and try another tasty choice.
Traditionally the vines has been a great place to go. However the experience I had on valentines day 2025 was the poorest I’ve had at any restaurant in my life and it’s hard to summarize the numerous issues. We were seated at 630
however our table service was slow and it was 30 mins before we received our drink order. Water wasn’t provided to the table. After about 1 hour we had received our salads and a single loaf of bread for a table of 6. We then waited another 30 minutes without our waitress checking in on us. We eventually flag her down and request water and another drink. She proceeds to tell us that they are running out of glasses, at which point you could look around the restaurant and tables were not being cleared, and I’m not kidding no table had food and people were getting agitated, everyone was in the same situation. Another hour later we still have not received the main course, many tables are now complaining to mgmt. At this point we speak to mgmt as well and our waitress stops in to apologize, Stating that they are short on chefs. 30 mins later we finally get our food. It’s 3 hours before we are done our meal and can leave. They offer half price for the delays. We settle on paying for drinks only. I’ve never seen a restaurant operating at this level, shocking.
I’ve been to the vines many times and the experience was always wonderful. I assume it’s under new ownership because what I experienced last night was nothing like I’ve experienced from any restaurant. After nearly breaking our backs from walking up the unlit, treacherous, insanely icy drive way we were pleased to find out our table was ready. We sat there for 40 minutes before we got served our drinks, another hour later our salads came out and one pathetic looking “loaf” of bread for our table of 6. When we looked around the restaurant we saw that NO-ONE had food!! Everyone was looking around the room wondering what was happening! After 2 hours of waiting for our meals, I spoke with the women in charge and asked what was happening. She was not able to tell me anything and just said it will only be 2 more minutes until our meals came. 30 minutes later our food came out.. There were so many people that just walked out without being served. I waited over an hour to get a glass of water after needing to ask the waitress 3 times. Our valentines dinner had turned into a 3 hour unforgettable event that we will be laughing about for many years to come.
Vines has been one of my family's favorite restaurants for years. The food is always outstanding, the service is great, atmosphere is lovely.
It's a wonderful restaurant all around and never disappoints.
