Small but fun place .. food was frozen and nuked but music was awesome

It's been years since I've visited the Woodside Tavern. The ownership has changed and the place has been renovated. It's more open and inviting now. The menu impressed us; the choices are varied and the taste of the dishes was very flavorful. Our server, Sujana, was quick to provide menus, take our order, served us beverages, then went into the kitchen to cook our meal, and then served us! She can do it all! It was a very enjoyable visit. We'll definately return!

The live band in the house made it a superb evening. The patrons were all enjoying themselves in their own ways. Grest place to have a relaxing evening.

Finally decided to stop in on a day off and check this place out after living in the neighborhood for over a decade. Our waitress was lovely and the curry was amazing, although I was sniffling from the spice by the end! We will definitely be back!
With some small renovations and maybe some nice paint/mural on the outside, I can see this becoming more popular outside of those in on the changes!

This is a typical neighbourhood tavern with great food. The curry is a gem, the burgers (lamb and hamburger) were both fantastic.

This review is long overdue. We have been coming here for over 5 years. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and we regularly enjoy the curry. Great flavour with some heat but not overwhelming. Bringing family next week who are keen to try it!

Best hidden gem in Dartmouth. The Woodside was bought by a cool couple from the UK who are working to turn it into a proper neighborhood pub. All the food is amazing, particularly the curry and the dumplings. They have surprisingly good live bands on the weekend. Don’t be fooled by the appearance - go here.
