Ordered the Jerk and Curry Chicken combo and started with plantains. This “not-so” hidden gem offers stellar comfort food. It was very busy tonight and it is easy to understand why.
My friendly suggestion would be to implement an order window and seat yourself policy so the front of staff isn’t overworked.

Ordered a few items here recently and they were all good (steam fish, jerk tofu, curry chicken and fried fish -escov on the side) I love that they have a variety of vegetarian dishes. The steamed fish was exceptional, very balanced and tasty. The rice and peas was also very tasty The curry chicken was my least favourite, it was ok, but too oily and the rice was smothered in the oily gravy. The vegetable portion could be a bit more. Overall, it was good but room for improvement in some areas.
10/10: succulent oxtail and the curry goat was so tender and flavourful!!

We eat here regularly, and have tried many of the classic dishes both eating in and takeout. Food is always fresh and super flavourful! Jamaican poutine is one of the best poutines we’ve had! Happy to support these wonderful owners :)
