The Double C was always my favorite restaurant. Was a real treat to go there as it's a 2 hour drive from where we live. I ordered the pan fried haddock which was good but the mashed potatoes were terrible. They don't put milk, butter or salt in them due to allergies. They were very bland, lumpy and tasted terrible. The waitress should have told me this before I ordered as I could have ordered something else and been happy with my meal. A wasted drive up there and back.

Excellent service. Super friendly waitresses. The Brewster chicken is incredibly good. We didn’t care for the mashed potatoes but we’ve only eaten there one time and would definitely go back!
