A little detour in your drive to Baddeck from Fall River gets you to this quaint little cosy cafe. Great coffee and their “soul potatoes” will literally feed your soul! We had half a grilled veggie panini and a veggie omelette … both tasted great and the quantity was sumptuous! A must stop!!! P.S their coffees are huge ❤️

Quaint little place. Charming atmosphere. The food was a bit uneven. The bacon too salty, the potatoes with a flagrant spice and the sausage without any seasoning, the mixture was not put together as expected. Nevertheless, the coffee was good and is go back to try this place again in the future.

This is one brunch place, I would advise anyone to stay away from. The service is worst and the lady behind the desk is the rudest and irresponsible person I have experienced. They lack responsibility, customer service and empathy towards its customers. We waited for literally 75 mins and the only thing that got served to us was water. Whenever asked for status, we were told the food is on the way and will get in 5 mins but food never arrived. Surprising fact is they were not accomodating for even kids pan cake and we literally waited for 90 mins to get kids pan cake, which is mediocare and not even great.
I get the part of delays when things get busy but this place is not even 50% occupied and the way they responded and treated us was unacceptable and not something anyone would want to experience in a brunch place.
We were hoping atleast the food is great with all the waiting but the quality hasn’t surprised us with the attitude and service we saw. Worst food, service, zero empathy!
