This is the restaurant in the Alt hotel. It is right in the lobby of the hotel. It has lots of seating and the service is good. The prices for an airport hotel are very reasonable.

Convenient place near the airport to enjoy a late dinner. This restaurant is located at the Lobby area of the Alt Hotel Halifax, which is attached to the airport. This is also the only place to go if you arrive Halifax Airport after 8pm and you want to have some hot foods in the airport.

So. Much. CHEESE! Ordered a pepperoni pizza and expected it to be nice and crispy because of the wood fire oven. I'm sure it would have been great, if it weren't for the thick, chewy, gelatinous layer of cheese. The layer of cheese was so thick that the pizza was swimming in grease and the pizza had a slimy mouth-feel because of it. Way to ruin what could've been a decent pizza.

Stayed at the ALT before an early morning flight - grabbed some pizza on the way up to the room. The donair pizza was fantastic! If you are anything like me… and the pizza is just a vehicle to get the donair sauce into your mouth… be sure to ask for some extra sauce for dipping!

Literally across the street from the airport. Inside the Alt Hotel. Half salad and a pepperoni pizza. Not a bad salad, just not really good. Not a bad pizza, just not good. Okay for late night night- post flight.
Airport hotel so I wasn’t expecting decent food and a good selection of beers. We shared a pizza and a salad. Pizza is big enough for one but small for two. Beers were good, service was pleasant!

We checked into the Alt hotel because we had an early next day flight. We had dropped our rental car off so restaurants were limited. We had a late lunch/early dinner at the hotel resraurant Sosta. For 19 days prior we ate seafood for at least one meal. We were not disappointed with this meal, even though there was no seafood. We started with the meatball appetizer. 3 big meatvalls with a great tomato sauce and tons of melted cheese. A good couple slices of toasted buttered bread soaked up all the delicous sauce. My wife and I split the Capricciosa pizza. Baked in the pizza oven and deliverdd straight out of it was so good. We did not miss the wonderful maritime seafood. Reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant...

They also found us a gluten free peanut butter cheesecake for dessert, it was good but a little too sweet for my taste, my husband (non gf guy) loved it. Great service and atmosphere: vibey, quiet, modern. Would consider staying here in future.
