Beautiful view, beautiful food. In particular, the hamburger that's made as a poutine burger, excellent ice cream of all kinds.... And not only the people assisting you to get the food, but the people in general that just kind of pop in and enjoy the place. It makes it kind of fun to us. I highly recommend there

I stopped eating sugar a couple of months ago (and have since lost 16 lbs!) so I can't speak to the ice cream. That's fine, others have and I'm sure it's simply divine. I do still gorge on deep fried foods though, and I have to say, the fish burgers here are quite lovely. Snack sized, with excellent batter, proper fish, (not a load of mashed potato someone once showed a picture of a haddock to) and at four dollars and change, highly affordable and, therefore, repeatable. The setting is maybe the real star here, though. Lots of parking, picnic tables along the waterfront, the bright lights of Dominion beckoning in the distance, calm placid water stretching out under a blue sky all the way to Dominion beach, and the looming presence of the Lingan adding a whiff of Mordor to balance out the picture postcard scene. And the seagulls are exceptionally well behaved. Honestly.

My daughters and my favorite ice cream place! Try the Buried Treasure soft serve! Nostalgic, but try and keep it a secret cause if theres none left for us she'llbe upset!
What a great local place to grab a bite after a long morning at the beach. Plenty of parking available, with picnic tables and a beautiful view of the water.

I have loved going to Bayside for a long time. I have always enjoyed their food. In the last two seasons, the food has been more blah. Fewer portions for more money. I feel the quality has gone downhill. Today was the end of Bayside for me. I ordered a poutine, as per usual. As soon as I took a bite I instantly knew something was off. The cheese was sour! I took it back to the window explaining the cheese tasted bad. The lady was like, oh no it's not sour. She returned it to the cooks and explained to them I claimed it was sour. Sure enough, they looked at me and said I was right. Sour cheese. That turned me off. I guess all good things come to an end, eventually...
I drove the 20 ish minutes and had a medium soft vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. Like another reviewer said- astounding ice cream! I have been talking about it ever since, encouraging others to go and get one. I was so amazed at the super creamy taste. By far, the best ice cream I have ever had. The medium soft serve was the largest I have ever had. The large must be gargantuan! Rich and Creamy, give it a try!
