My sister and I went out for dinner to a place I have been wanting to visit on many trips home but haven’t yet. It is the Brixton and it sits in the heart of Glace Bay. It is fine dining at its best with a down home feel. They have a Cordon Blue Chef and it’s pretty obvious from the bread plate to the finish. The dishes were amazing. Highly recommend this spot if visiting Cape Breton. The warm atmosphere, live outdoor music (summer), and amazing food are well worth a stop for any traveller. Have been craving the food and cocktails since. May need to plan another trip just to eat here! So yummy.
I went here a couple of weeks ago and can say that hands down this was THE best spinach and artichoke dip I have ever had. And, from someone who has tasted great Cacio e Pepe in Rome, they did a damn good job on theirs! Loved the added touch of tiny bits of red onion in it.
