Had the best Reuban sandwich there yesterday. The only thing better than the sandwich was our server, Dawn -a delight! We were pampered and pleased to learn a little of her Acadian roots. She's a certified sommelier and we learned that the chef is a graduate of the grand culinary school de Paris - Le Cordon Bleu. One bite confirms his expertise!
Before we left, we visited one of their guest rooms- a sight to behold. An overnight stay would certainly be divine. C'est certain.
We will be back! Merci, Dawn.
ps
The complimentary chocolate truffles were exquisite.

We started coming to Le Caveau 15 years ago on our honeymoon. We have come back sporadically and celebrated a few anniversaries here as well. Always one of our favorite places to eat when visiting the valley.

Family member’s recent visit. Magnificent! Happy with the decision to dine here! Located on the premises of Domaine de Grand Pre Winery/Vineyard, beautiful surroundings, dining in an upscale French farmhouse, lovely decor. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. The oysters, duck confit, & hanger steak were absolutely delicious! A truly magnificent experience!

We had a fabulous meal tonight. The charcuterie board was amazing and our entrees delicious. Sue was our server and was so engaging and spoiled us all evening. An amazing place to dine. We had a little pup so we ate on their beautiful patio.

This was an excellent restaurant. . our favorite in the 10 days we were in this area. The menu has so many wonderful choices, it was difficult to choose, and the tasting menu looked fabulous. The Parisienne gnochhi appetizer was unusual and very good. My wagu hanger steak entree was outstanding. We also loved the sweet rolls. And the Zeppole dessert was lick the plate outstanding. The wines of course were what you'd expect in the middle of a wine region. . . and the prices were very reasonable. Our bill was higher because we had a bottle of wine, plus some glasses of red, and I also started with a cocktail. I'd highly recommend this restaurant. . also a very charming vibe.

We reserved for lunch, we were surprised to not have the option to dine inside. The outside is lovely to look at, but sitting on a bench at a picnic table is not our idea of fine dining. Not everyone is comfortable sitting on a bench with no back, for any length of time.
I ordered the grilled coppa steak, frites, hunter sauce, wilted local greens. The coppa steak was nicely cooked, but there was no hunter sauce on that plate. Also, the frites were barely warm. What does it take to serve a hot meal? I found the entire meal to be uninspiring and underwhelming.
My friend was also unhappy with her meal.
The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and accommodating.
I will not rush back. There are much better dining options in the Valley.

Had a lovely lunch in their outdoor dining area, which had plenty of shade provided by the pergolas with grape vines. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff were excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Exceptional service, and sitting under the pergola dining from an exquisite menu paired with the estates wines, is truly living the good life.
If you are coming here for food, change your mind and make sure to have food beforehand. The wine is really good, especially the NS red. However the portions for food are so small that it leaves you confused whether you had food or air. I’m sure I lost calories by eating the food. So if you want to lose calories, it is a great spot. Oh and bring salt with you unless you want to eat just plain ingredients with no taste whatsoever, trust me. I could’ve had better tasting food at McDonalds and actually feel like I ate something.

Phenomenal. Our waiter knew so much about wines and helped us pair the right wine to our fantastic food. The atmosphere was perfect. Everything was an absolute joy. Would 10000% go back. Perfect for a romantic evening ❤️

It is a pretty good restaurant in the midst of its own vineyard. I enjoyed the dinner - I tried the smoked salmon, arctic char and duck pasta. The rosé was amazing!
The outdoors is beautiful and if the day is good, even better to be seated outside.
