We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and it was truly magical! The fine dining in an elegant and cozy ambiance created a romantic and intimate garden setting. From the moment we arrived, the attentive service made us feel pampered. The food was exquisite! A special thank you to the staff for making this anniversary celebration so unforgettable. The dessert was a lovely touch, and we appreciate the personalized greeting & service. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to create a memorable dining experience for a special occasion. Mr.&Mrs.Dana

One the best restaurants in Nova Scotia. Beautiful setting, local ingredients and outstanding service.

Our first time visiting Le Caveau restaurant. We were greeted and warmly welcomed by one of the owner’s Beatrice Stutz. It was a truly wonderful experience. Our waitress Leah made sure we had everything we needed and more! She was super sweet and friendly. We had the Pandesal Filipino Sweet Rolls as an appetizer and they were amazing! For my main I had the Pan Roasted Arctic Char with Thai black rice risotto, salmon roe velouté, leek pavé & frisée and my partner had the Brant Lake Wagyu Hanger Steak with Pomme Duchesse, charred cabbage, carrot miso purée, bordelaise sauce followed by The Zeppole for dessert which was Tossed in nutmeg sugar, with almond ice cream & sour cherry compote. It was absolutely delicious! You can tell there is a lot of passion, hard work and time that Chef Jason Lynch and his team at Le Caveau put into their amazing dishes along with the presentation. The staff were super friendly, very welcoming and knowledgeable.

We also had lunch the next day. I highly recommend the Double Duck Fat Fries which is served with the Harissa and lime aioli, Old Growler gouda and green onion. It was superb! For lunch I had the Le Caveau Reuben which was on a House-cured beef brisket with cider mustard, sauerkraut and Gruyere on house-made molasses bun and my partner had the Grilled Coppa Steak with Frites and Madagascar sauce. It was so delish!
The restaurant itself is beautiful and it also has the pergola which is gorgeous for sitting outside.

We also stayed at the Inn at Grand Pre winery. It is stunning. We stayed in the room on lower level called the Courtyard. It’s a gorgeous spacious room and immaculate. The bed was super comfy and the room had lots of windows with great lighting which gave us a nice view of the pergola. We also had access to the sitting room which is a nice place to read, have breakfast or to unwind. Courtney and Payton were so welcoming, sweet, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. They really made you feel at home and were very helpful. I highly recommend this place to stay in Grand Pre.

The wine is spectacular!!! My favourite is definitely the Marquette (red) and Riesling (white). Also the wine shop is lovely. Manda and Flynn were so knowledgeable and happy to assist me in whatever I needed. Super friendly and very helpful.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We definitely are coming back. Our favourite place to stay and favourite restaurant so far!!!

Without a doubt one of the best lunches we've ever had. Susan our server guided us through menu selection in a thoroughly professional and good humoured approach. Mussels, charcuterie board, dessert and refreshments. It was all perfect. The beautiful vineyards and landscape of the Annapolis valley surround you like a hug in the outdoor courtyard.

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at Le Caveau. The food is some of the best cuisine in Nova Scotia. Everytime we go, it meets this high standard. The portions are good, and the ingredients are local.

We had three appetizers, two main courses, two drinks, and a dessert and our bill came in at just over $150.

The service was excellent, present, and knowledgeable and welcoming.

Le Caveau is decorated with local art, which we talked about throughout our meal.

We can't wait to go back!

We had a disappointing meal at Le Caveau. We were not served food for over an hour after sitting down. It was a Thursday night and there was live music upstairs at “The Pergola” so the kitchen was overwhelmed and management seemed to forget about their customers at Le Caveau. I got the 4 course tasting menu and - remarkably - they forgot to serve me one of the courses! Service was very nice and knowledgeable but again the whole scene was overwhelmed and out of control. We won’t be going back.

Wow! I couldn't be happier with choosing Le Caveau to host our wedding/elopement dinner! I had a few conversations with Kyla beforehand as I had some special requests. Kyla listened and accommodated. The day off, everything went smoothly, and everyone was impressed by the service, food, and the beauty of the patio!

We had a magical experience at Le Caveau. The food was expertly prepared and each dish perfection and delicious; the wine was perfectly paired; the service was attentive, friendly, professional and charming; and the atmosphere was so lovely, both inside and out. We had a truly wonderful and memorable time. Thank you so much!

I’ve been here to eat 3 or 4 times and the most recent time was out under the pergola, listening to live music. It was a really lovely evening and the atmosphere was great as always, as was the service. I’m writing this review because the food has not once, in all of my visits, been good. Everything sounds amazing and looks great but is either bland and tasteless or, in the case of the apple cider mustard I had last night, downright foul. The dessert is always amazing though!
