We had the most wonderful meal and dining experience. It was really unique being able to sit and watch the chefs create our meals - which were truly works of art. Our cocktails were perfect and Kyla provided exceptional service. Nicole at the wine shop was really helpful and kind. Thank you!

There is a reason Curated magazine rated this place #9 out of the '50 Best Places to Eat' in Nova Scotia (see photo of write up from 2023 edition)! We came for a birthday celebration which we were very happy about because Le Caveau doesn't traditionally do winter dinners. They are open during January and February for weekends only. I was sad to learn that they will close in March and April but hopefully that changes in the future as early spring would be awesome here. We chose the 5:00 pm seating (open 5-730 pm currently) and it was a great choice because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Of note, the restaurant is located at The Inn (across the actual restaurant, on the same property) during the winter months. Our server was lovely and let us choose our seats in one of two rooms - the 'kitchen' room or the side dining room. We chose the dining room and that's our only regret; the other room would have allowed us to watch the chef which would have been awesome. We took a while with the menu because we couldn't decide with everything looking so good. The server brought us a birthday drink to toast while we decided which was really nice. While the portions may look small in the photos, choosing one item from each course makes this just perfect. We decided to share a second and if we had each had our own, we agreed we'd be overly full before dessert arrived. Some folks may find this over-priced, but you're paying for quality local ingredients that are made to order as you sit. There are no Sysco products or pre-bottled ingredients in the kitchen. You really get what you pay for while supporting local farmers. Seating is VERY limited so you definitely need reservations. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the actual restaurant. We would really love to visit when the pergola patio is open because a cocktail or glass of wine with all of the blooms would be just stunning. Skip the garbage fast food for a month and save up to try this place out. You will love the service, quality and the atmosphere.

We had an incredible dinner at Le Caveau in December. The food was delicious but what really stood out to us was our service. It was outstanding! From server to host and bartender. Top notch service, not something that is very common these days! They went above and beyond. Cannot wait to return.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, accommodating for allergies (nice gluten free options), all in all made it a great place for us to celebrate! We will be back!Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free options were clearly marked on the menu, and there were options to modify other dishes. They seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination.Parking: We had to walk up a bit of a hill to get to the restaurant.

Amazing experience at Le Caveau for dinner this past weekend! Our group enjoyed some amazing cocktails and some fantastic dishes. The tuna tartare, wagyu steak and gnocchi were among some of our favourites - beautiful presentations and delicious flavours. A few of us in the group were hot sauce/spice fans and the chef ended up coming down to our table to present us with a selection of hot peppers grown in his garden. We tried a few and took home the rest - such a lovely touch to an already fantastic meal. Service is top notch, food is amazing, venue is beautiful. Highly recommend!

The staff were amazingly warm and friendly and the ambience sets a great tone, informal and yet upmarket. And the food: my wife had perhaps the best salmon she has ever had, and I had the amazing pulled duck. Both dishes were wonderful. Good dessert too…. Strawberry cheesecake profiteroles! Great accompanying wine selection, reasonable prices… what’s not to like?

Five star experience at this beautiful restaurant. We had the tasting menu accompanied by the estate wine pairings. Everything was beautifully presented and each course was described by Michelle as it was served. She explained what we’d be tasting in each of the wines, which were a generous amount. Michelle gave us excellent service, and was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We always eat here when in the area but last nights experience makes us want to rush back!

I had a fantastic meal here. The service was excellent (thank you, Sarah), the ambience (we ate outside) was lovely, and the food was exceptional. The tuna tartar and the vegetable boudin were standouts. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the Wolfville area.

Exceptional service, great wine and desserts. Dinner was a bit under seasoned and overcooked which was disappointing for an otherwise great experience! Bring back the zeppoli!! Staff were amazing and the wine never disappoints!!

My wife and I had a long overdue lunch at Le Caveau today. We had been been told of the wonderful charcuterie board at the restaurant and had made up our minds before arriving that we would be ordering it. That was it, we shared it accompanied by some lovely Grand Pre Tidal Bay. The food was outstanding and all made in house except for the cheese. Without a doubt the best we have ever had. We arrived just before the lunch rush and had the pleasure of having the hostess (Lydia?) be our server. There are great service experiences and then there are the exceptional few that exceed even that. This was one of those experiences. All in all, our best lunch in recent memory anywhere. Thank you Le Caveau!

We had an amazing culinary and oenological experience. The food is worth the highest price. The staff is charming and everybody is a sommelier. Our wine pairing was perfect. The setting is romantic, relaxing and elegant. An evening to remember.

Ambience is warm and welcoming. Staff is helpful, courteous, and patient. Food is absolutely wonderful - full of flavor, beautifully presented. This was our second visit and both experiences want us to go back again and again and again. :)

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant's wonderful staff members! We started with their beautifully presented oysters on the half shell - the oysters tasted like they had just been plucked from the sea and onto our table! We next had their amazing Yellowfin Tuna Tartar with a sauce of Harissa aioli, creme fraiche, cured egg yolk and gaufrettes. For our entrees we had Seared "Sustainable Blue" Salmon with a Miso glaze, summer brassica, rice pilaf, ginger & spinach puree. My husband had the Brant Lake Wagyu Hanger Steak Confit with new potatoes, sauce foyot and wilted summer greens which he found to be delicious! We spent the night at the Grand Pre Inn in their luxurious and well appointed suite! Staying there meant that we could have a glass of wine with dinner and walk across the courtyard to the Inn. The next morning, we had a marvelous lunch at Le Caveau again starting with their yummy oysters. For our entrees we ordered the Scallop Spaghetti in a Garlic butter sauce and gremolata. We also ordered the Newfoundland Mussels with White curry, crisp chilis, lime and tamarind and the Lobster, Scallop and Cold Water Shrimp Chowder with Spanish almond broth, spring onions and smoked paprika to take back to our cottage for our dinner that night. Each dish was exquisitely prepared with the freshest ingredients. Thank you to CEO Beatrice, Chef Jason and each of your wonderful colleagues at the Winery, Restaurant and the Inn!

Wonderful gem of a restaurant in Wolfville at the Grand Prè winery! The food was incredibly fresh and good--our favorites were the gnocchi with local blue cheese, vegetable "boudin" and the best tuna tartare I've ever had. Server Sarah was delightful and we tried a few different wines from the estate, including the blanc de blanc sparkling which was so tasty. We sat outside on the patio. Loved it!

We came for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and had one of the best meals we have eaten. Katie’s service was incredible and truly made this an unforgettable experience.
