A quick break on the road for a Sunday brunch. We ate very well and the service was top notch.

The first time I came here, shortly after opening, I had a not so great dining experience, so I waited a while before trying it again. I'm happy to report that I had a really great second experience here, and I'll definitely be returning for dinner when I'm in the area. There was a seafood pasta special on, which was delicious, the tuna tartare was good also, and the crisp for dessert was very good. The server was very attentive to our needs, and contributed positively to our dining experience.

I made a reservation for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend. The food was excellent & delicious. No room for dessert but we took some to go, which was also excellent. Well definitely be back!

Alright. So I have been here a few times. It’s just shaky to best describe it. It took 40 minutes to get our drinks. old fashioned was clear as a gin and tonic and didn’t have alcohol in it. Our server was great, very nice and was working very hard considering I would say they are understaffed. Anyway, our appetizers arrived after an hour and 12 minutes. Mains came an hour and 40 minutes in. Tuna tartare was somehow bland. The mushroom pasta was quite literally the worst dish I’ve ever had. Everything we had was bland and half cold half warm. Again, I’ve been here a few times and it just kind of always disappoints I’m still trying to figure out exactly what the main issue is whether it’s ownership or not but it’s certainly not the service they do very well considering what they have to work with. I won’t be back again. Also how this restaurant was ranked 9th in curated magazine after being open for about 2 months is pretty hilarious also cause it’s certainly no where close to that rank.

Excellent food with great friendly service. Duck breast and steak were truly amazing dishes. Pies are still made by the original pie maker and definitely worth saving room for dessert. Not cheap, but extremely good value for money.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to entrance, lip on door frame to traverse. Disabled bathroom with reasonable space.

After following this restaurant for months I was so excited to finally be in the area to try it, we made a reservation and had high expectations. When we arrived though our reservation was for 6 they weren’t ready for us and moved tables together that were different heights(not a huge deal). We ordered drinks and then went to look at the dessert options - they looked amazing! We all ordered apps and mains. After about 35 minutes our drinks arrived - one with the bonus of a fly in it but they corrected it but this is where our server started to seem annoyed by us. None of the drinks were exception but nobody complained. 10 minutes later our apps come, we are excited and hungry but then immediately after and I mean immediately not even 2 minutes later our mains arrive! Can you eat seafood chowder quickly enough so lobster spaghetti doesn’t get cold before you dig in? Well actually it doesn’t matter because the pasta is kinda dry, as is the truffle pasta. The majority of the table was disappointed with the exception of the duck and tuna tartare. Our server didn’t check on us really and didn’t care that it was clearly awkward with plates everywhere! We had all been very interested in the beautiful looking desserts but nobody ordered any because we truly felt like they just wanted us to leave. Every single one of us in our party has worked in the service industry before and all discussed that it was hard to leave a tip at all. I apologized for the rest of our trip since it was my pick and we had a much better meal the next night for half the price!Don’t read the menu and expect to be in for a treat as you will set yourself up for disappointment.

While the menu looks amazing on paper, the food was so disappointing as was the service. The truffle mushroom pasta was very bland with little truffle flavour and an awful consistency. The pasta I'm quite sure was cut up pieces of lasagna noodles. I asked for extra parmasean cheese or spices to help the flavour however my efforts were futile. Despite voicing my concerns the server did nothing to remedy the issue or offer an alternative when the majority of the meal remained untouched. There were many more issues around the table but overall we felt unwelcome and under served. I would never return or recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointed to be refused a 1/2 glass of wine. Not out of concern over drinking too much but because “the manager says we can’t do that”. At a probable cost of <$4, they could have given it for free, never mind refusing to sell it. No flexibility to accommodate a customer’s preferred restricted consumption.

The food here is REALLY good and the storied history of the area is just as good. The espresso martini is delicious as are the baked goods. Definitely check it out!

I've passed by this fantastic looking place and have been dying to try it out. Today I was just touring around and needed a quick supper.I had the truffle mushroom pasta, and I hate to sound like a snob, but the pasta... they must have had to lift it out of the bucket with a strainer, because it was all in shreds and falling apart .. Should not have been served.Whomever made that judgment call, tsk tsk.

We hosted our wedding reception at Longfellow. The food was wonderful and so was the service. Very impressed how they prepared for our group of 20.

A thoroughly excellent dinner. We had the burger and two steak frites, and everyone raved about it. The steak was plentiful - enough for two, really, when you consider the vegetables that came alongside. The veg itself was a nice touch - so many steak frites would be all steak all frites, which isn't really healthy, or even as enjoyable. Carrots and asparagus, both with a little bite. Steak done perfectly, on the most unctuous sauce. The side of crispy fried onions is a welcome surprise. And the fries were incredible. Hot, crispy, very crispy, salted perfectly, with some pepper, just over the top excellent. The burger was juicy but not leaking and oozing all over. And just a peek behind the curtain, they had put pepper on the tomato. I just love to see that someone put that level of thought into making sure every component was seasoned perfectly. The attention to detail is totally on point. And service was excellent too. We'll be back for sure. What a great find!

Great spot. Looks diner-ish from the outside but don’t let appearances fool you. Great lunch options. A bit pricier but the food is that much better. My wife had the burrata which looked great. Kids shared the flatbread which they loved. I thought my smorgasbord sandwich was to die for. Really interesting dessert options as well to top it all off. Well worth it after a visit to Grand Pre, or if you are in the area.
