Best seafood chowder, loaded with lobster, scallops and haddock. We enjoyed a large serving and our waitress was delightful and very helpful. This is my go to Birthday restaurant every year. Even though it's 1hr 40mins from where I live, the trip is well worth it every single time. Highly reccomend!!
It's hard to describe the food, other than DELICIOUS!

Was in the area looking for property and my realtor suggested we check this place out. Very glad he did! Just my kind of place. The clams are as good as they come anywhere! We both Got the chowder to take away and had it for breakfast the next day, fantastic and loaded with scallops! Came back the next day for a lobster roll. I look forward to moving to the Valley so I can visit the Crows Nest more often.

I had pan fried scallops with Caesar salad, and a glass of wine. The meal was excellent! The scallops were medium size and done to perfection. Thanks so much.

Typical New Scotland restaurant offering seafood and traditional cuisine.
This restaurant is frequented by "locals" which makes it attractive to European tourists.
The plate of scallops in 3 ways (pan-fried, breaded and with bacon) is interesting for testing the different preparations.
The seafood chowder is generous. The lobster club deserves a little less mayonnaise in order to highlight the lobster.
The desserts are good.
The decoration of the restaurant is original and very detailed (it looks like a museum).
Reasonable prices. Parking right in front of the restaurant.

I was in the other day and had the clams with fries and a side of gravey which totaled 32 dollars ,on the plate where a few fries with 11 clams tossed across the fries all tho my meal tasted very good the portion size for the dollar amount was very disappointing. Over the summer i had the same order 3 different times and each was the same while i watched other eat a mountian of clams piled over there fresh cut fries --fresh cut fries who knew. So at nearly 100 dollars for a few clams in 3 meals i am sorry i wont return.

Homey and down-to-earth place with delicious food and generous portions. Lowen, our server, was friendly and efficient, and the food came super fast. I liked the charm of the parking lot being so full we had to double park and they just asked people to move when someone in front was ready to leave. :) Enjoyed the chowder, crispy haddock and coconut cream pie for dessert!

Food was okay tasting, it didn't taste bad just kinda adequate. Boring and adequate would have been fine but it was really wildly over priced for the quality. We both had the half lobster sandwich and seafood chowder. Seafood chowder was loaded with fresh seafood which was nice but the broth was pretty tasteless it seemed to just be milk and butter. The lobster sandwich was the most disappointing though the bread was just normal super market sandwich bread, not even toasted and a bit of lobster with mayo. For the price (we paid about 50$ for both) we left pretty unsatisfied, this is tourist joint with tourist prices for sure. Yes lobster and seafood in general is at a premium price point, but other restaurants in the area give more food, better prepared for the same price.
Service was good though our server was very nice and the place had very cool decor lots of local art and lots of interesting pieces.
