Crow's Nest Hillsburn - Shore Road Seafood

Quintessential Nova Scotia!! The place is WAY off the beaten trail, the view of Fundy is incredible, the food is great. The whole experience is a must, right down to the little shack that feels like if a gust of wind came along it would fall over… but it doesn’t.
I recommend the chowder, hands down some of the best in the province. The haddy bites are yummy, and the fried chicken’s pretty good. The menu’s a bit bigger than it needs to be, but I guess that’s the cook’s problem.

We were recommended The Crow's Nest from our B&B host. The experience at the crows nest far exceeded our expectations. This was one of the top meals we had in Nova Scotia. The seafood was extremely fresh and perfectly prepared. The decor and attention to detail was stellar. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Make sure to call ahead because all the tables were served when we went on a random weekday, even in the off season. I look forward to dining here again!

Best seafood chowder, loaded with lobster, scallops and haddock. We enjoyed a large serving and our waitress was delightful and very helpful. This is my go to Birthday restaurant every year. Even though it's 1hr 40mins from where I live, the trip is well worth it every single time. Highly reccomend!!

We just stopped in for a quick plate of fries… the Crows Nest in Hillsburn is delightful and even though it was just fries, they’re home fries not frozen.. this little pleasant surprise is adorable and sweet!! The food is lovely and the service is fast friendly and a must to go out of your way for!!!!

This is one of the best East Coast restaurants I’ve tried. I ordered seafood chowder with a half lobster sandwich, and it was made to perfection! The freshness of the seafood was soooo good! It wasn’t expensive either, which made it even more perfect!

Was in the area looking for property and my realtor suggested we check this place out. Very glad he did! Just my kind of place. The clams are as good as they come anywhere! We both Got the chowder to take away and had it for breakfast the next day, fantastic and loaded with scallops! Came back the next day for a lobster roll. I look forward to moving to the Valley so I can visit the Crows Nest more often.
