I absolutely love this place. the food is always fresh and hot. the drink menu has a variety of options. the red pepper dip I highly recommend. wait staff are very attentive to their tables. five stars
I started going to the Oaken Barrel in February of this year. From the first day I was treated like a long-time customer. The service is always great, the servers are always great, and it's nice to see the owner present and working behind the bar and serving. This is now my local, even though I don't live locally. It's worth the drive (or bus drive). One recommendation - the espresso martini. So good.
Arrived for brunch today with my furry companion and co worker on break and were seated on the patio where my dog could accompany us. The server was absolutely fantastic. Ceilidh. Professional, kind , on point with everything we ordered and her service. Great job Ceilidh you made us feel like family and very at home which is rare. Oaken Barrel Pub is a hidden gem with excellent food and service. The chicken Bacon ranch mac and cheese is a must-try, with its ooey-gooey ranch that's finger-licking good. The steak sandwich is also a hit, and the fish and chips are highly recommended. The restaurant's accommodating staff ensure a great dining experience, and they handle larger groups very well. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly menu and chairs, making it suitable for all ages. The pub is known for its great food, friendly owner, and a cozy atmosphere behind the strip mall. On wing night, customers enjoyed lots of chicken wings, and the fish & chips were served with plenty of fries, leaving diners stuffed. The beer is cold, though only microbrewery options are available. Visitors can enjoy a superb mojito, similar to those found in Bermuda, and celebrate special occasions with friends. Parking is convenient with a shared lot at the back of the mall, and there is always a spot available. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal and good times.
