Vernon’s Thunderbird Diner

Service was pretty bad. We were seated right away but it took a while for someone to come take our order. Asked for refills but they didn't come till we were done and ready to leave. The food was OK, nothing incredible. We were also seated at a table that is right next to the bathrooms, they should probably add a wall or remove that table. The service was really the downside. As we were leaving we overheard they were out of ingredients to make a lot of stuff on their menu.

We had taken a very loyal patron to Vernon's for his 82 bday. Would love to thank Kelly for making this the best part of his day . They know how much he loves their coconut cream pie. Kelly made it so special, never seen him smile so much . Thank you Kelly. Looking forward to returning.

What a place. Highly recommend stopping in to enjoy a really great meal and awesome decor. Staff is very friendly. Menu has something.for everyone. It's a can't miss spot!!!

This was our favorite place but the service has become an issue. This time we were waiting for a table to be cleaned, they let other people sit at the table instead of our group who was waiting. When we did get seated at a table, no one came back and they started to take other people's orders seated next to us who came in after we did. This is the 2nd time we have been ignored so we walked out. Which is unfortunate because my son absolutely loves their turkey dinner

Never been here before this, seen fresh clams on the menu. Decided to try them out. Mind you I'm from Colchester where we have Murphy's fish and chips and not to far from Diane's clams in 5 islands. To say i was let down was an understatement. There was a handful of clams sitting on my plate in a pool of oil. The batter was mush on alot of them, literally almost liquid. To the point i could scrape it off with my fork. Gelatinous is the best term for it. The clams were tough and rubbery. Cesar salad was ok i guess. Hard to mess that up though really. My friend had haddock tips which were also terrible. Very very salty and strong fishy taste unlike any haddock I've had! Not sure if just over seasoned or what. Wouldn't be able to recommend unfortunately. Waitress was very nice the atmosphere was cool and that's my only compliments i can make. Won't be back.

I had a great meal at Vernon’s! The staff were great especially my server Mya! She was world class and incredible! Can’t recommend enough.

The food is not that good the diner is so dirty
