We really enjoyed ourselves. We were out for a drive and stumbled across this place. So happy we found it. The food was classic Nova Scotia food. Not much for vegetarians, but they were very happy to accommodate. My husband had a hot turkey sandwich with all the "fixins". $42 for two people includes 20% tip and the tax.
Stopped in for some fish and chips and a hot hamburger meal.The tartar sauce seemed to have a hint of Curry that went well with the fish. The fries had a light coating that some may like. I would prefer a hot fresh hand cut fry any day of the week.Some places are better than others at serving meals piping hot. The coleslaw with the fish and chips was delicious. Have been there twice in the past month for fish & chips. Always very good and done with a light batter. Staff very polite and accommodating, particularly when you show up 15 minutes before closing.
