This place is a MUST VISIT if you’re in the HRM. We were on our way out of the city and decided to google food nearby - this place stood out immediately.I ordered the seafood basket which is a 1/2 basket of clams, and 1/2 basket of fish.My buddy ordered the special which was the Hot Turkey Sandwich with Mashed taters smothered in gravy. The gravy was absolutely incredible, homemade using the drippings from their turkey. Brings back memories of old family meals. The portions were extremely generous and it was certainly one of the more affordable seafood meals I’ve had in a while. Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are super friendly and you can tell they take pride in their food and their community.10/10 will be returning to try out the rest of the menu. One of my new favourite spots in Nova Scotia.

Have been there twice in the past month for fish & chips. Always very good and done with a light batter. Staff very polite and accommodating, particularly when you show up 15 minutes before closing.

We really enjoyed ourselves. We were out for a drive and stumbled across this place. So happy we found it. The food was classic Nova Scotia food. Not much for vegetarians, but they were very happy to accommodate. My husband had a hot turkey sandwich with all the "fixins". $42 for two people includes 20% tip and the tax.

Stopped in for some fish and chips and a hot hamburger meal. The tartar sauce seemed to have a hint of Curry that went well with the fish. The fries had a light coating that some may like. I would prefer a hot fresh hand cut fry any day of the week. Some places are better than others at serving meals piping hot. The coleslaw with the fish and chips was delicious. Unfortunately it wasn't included with the hot hamburger. The gravy was real and tasty and seemed turkey based. The peas on top are a nice decoration, but a few more would have added more flavor. I'm sure if we asked we could have had more peas and coleslaw for the hot hamburger.Lovely service. Pleasant server/owner. A welcoming spot which always counts.

The best pan fried halibut in all of Nova Scotia. We also love the halibut tips and fries.

What a wonderfully happy place to visit. Extremely accommodating to child requests. Could have a few more dishes for brunch without red meat, eg crab benny or
