The Blarney Stone Restaurant

Absolutely amazing meal!! I had the medium fish and fries, and it was the best I've had in a long time. The fish was lightly battered and cooked perfectly. The tarter sauce and coleslaw were great as well. Looking forward to going back again!

Cute homey roadside restaurant. The locals were eating here, so you know it's good. We had a variety of foods, all cooked well with tasty fresh ingredients.

Walked in to a very rude greeting and place setting. The short haired waitress with the attitude should find other work. Perhaps driving a truck - alone. She should not be in service. Watched her demeanour while we waited. The back of the menu will tell you all you need to know with its snarky comments to anyone who minds waiting.
Yes others who came in after us got served well ahead as others have commented but the food was decent when it arrived. The ambience was dominated by this absolutely angry at the world waitress. The other waitress was trying to be human - the short haired older one was at best there to show everyone how much she hates being a server. It was uncomfortable to watch her strive to be as rude as she could without being directly horrible. Unbelievable attitude !

I would have left zero tip but the other waitress deserved better

Never will we return to this place. Avoid avoid. If they can’t see what a terrible waitress/ human she is - time to pack it in !

We have often ate in and also have used take out. Always pleasant and good service.

The Lobster Poutine is to die for ! Absolutely the best ever !!!

With a disabled family member celebrating a special milestone, we were initially concerned about accessibility. Thankfully, a small ramp made entry easy for everyone. The warm, welcoming atmosphere, diverse menu, and outstanding service made for a truly memorable experience. We’ll definitely be coming back—again and again!

Our order was taken in about five minutes after being seat. Then we waited for our meal. Four tables that came in after us had their meal and we were still waiting. Finally I went to see where our order was. I believe she forgot to place our order. The waitress was very rude when I asked her what was going on with our order. Food was good but that is the worst service we ever had there. We eat there quite often but it will be a while before we go back. I

Me and my wife stopped in for supper. I had a large fish and chips. Comes with 4 pieces!! So yummy 😋. Their gravy is amazing!! Love it. My wife had the clams and fries.. she enjoyed it very much. They have a great menu and prices are very reasonable. We don’t come often but when we do we are always satisfied. Portions are big!! A+ Highly recommend stopping by. Staff is very friendly .

Have been coming here for a many years now. Usually I order fish & Chips. Often it is quite busy and noisy when dining in, but we have never experienced any rudeness from servers, which some other reviewers have complained about. The meals are like home-cooked, and are quite tasty. However, the fish & chips that we ordered for take-out has apparently shrunk in size, and was not the amount we would get when we dined in. The fish pieces (2) were small and the batter was thin - almost looked like frozen battered fish fillets that you can buy at the store- but I'm hoping it was fresh. Chips/fries were not as numerous as you get when dining-in, where they usually fill your plate with fries.

Might be back, or might go elsewhere now for fish & chips, as there are many restaurants around here that have it on the menu.
