Returning to Halifax, from Carters Beach, stopping at The Blarney Stone was a spontaneous visit, and well worth it! The place was BUSY, which is always a good sign. It took about 10 minutes to get seated and once our order was placed, it did take longer than we expected to receive our meals. We noticed several customers that were seated after us receive their meals before us. Our server apologized profusely and when our food finally arrived, it was delicous! I only have a picture...
Absolutely amazing meal!! I had the medium fish and fries, and it was the best I've had in a long time. The fish was lightly battered and cooked perfectly. The tarter sauce and coleslaw were great as well. Looking forward to going back again!
With a disabled family member celebrating a special milestone, we were initially concerned about accessibility. Thankfully, a small ramp made entry easy for everyone. The warm, welcoming atmosphere, diverse menu, and outstanding service made for a truly memorable experience. We’ll definitely be coming back—again and again!
