Got a cupcake at The Cake Lady booth at the Atlantic Outdoor Show today. Unbelievably bad. The cake part was hard and crumbly. The icing tasted like it had been frozen in a freezer with other foods for an extended period. It had a faint taste of onions or garlic. I’ve never encountered a worse cupcake.

Had today in noggins, everything looked delicious however that changed fast once I tasted, pretzel was so dry and chewy apple strudel seemed over cooked and crumbled to pieces and pecan tart tasted just of butter and sugar needless to say it all went in the garbage.

If I could give a zero I would after hearing about the atrocity you did to that woman on her wedding day and still have not returned her money. Horrible quality cake and even worse customer service. But if I want to talk about something I tried from you. I tried a cookie at the exhibition or an obscene price and it was dry and one of the worst cookies I've ever tired. Gross business.

I have had a better macaroon from circle k. The bottom was wet and tasted off. The plain pretzel was stale not fresh at all. For the price, not worth it.

My wife Jo left a 2 star review a couple of weeks ago. I agreed with her initial rating. To them see the owners reply that it was some how my wife's fault for not giving her enough time for a cake order is bizarre, and that we'd had several conversations is frankly a lie. We didn't put in an order for a cake, just popped in to buy something on the off chance. I also think that she misinterpreted the comment about being instagram worthy, it was intended to paint the cafe as being set up beautifully to mask the poor fare on offer, "Style over substance". I stand by our first impression of stale, small and overpriced, but with the added reviewer blaming it goes down to 1 star.

We went today there while they where at the LCLC for Canada Day and we were really happy with what we got. My wife had a brownie and I had a carrot cake, and when I noticed they had mistakenly given me a smaller piece they gave me another for free!!! Same with my girls who got themselves a chocolate cookie just because they wanted to be nice!! Like how often does that happen? The girls there were very energetic and generous, what a great experience!
