The Savary Plate Eatery & Pizzeria

On July 5, 2025 the Savary Plate catered our wedding in Hubbards, NS and our guests are still talking about the food. We had a blend of Caribbean and Canadian food and the team at the Savary Plate executed the mix of cultures beautifully and deliciously. Alisha was amazing to work with, really cared about our vision and went above and beyond as we finalized the menu. Not only was the food flavourful, the service was impeccable and seamless. I would recommend Savary Plate again and again. We still can’t believe how phenomenal the food was for such a reasonable price. Ordered the 2 eggs and vegetables dish but looked like I got the deconstructed breakfast wrap because someone else inside the restaurant ordered the eggs and vegetable dish and got a very different dish there's was vibrant and fresh looking while mine was not. I don't see how 2 people ordering the same dish can receive something so different

Came here for lunch, got the vegetable and egg plate. I got the exact same contents as my husbands breakfast wrap.. then I see another customer who ordered the vegetable egg plate and got different fresh vegetables, much more different variety etc. food is inconsistent and chef is lazy.. it was busy when we ordered but we expect the same level of quality.

Alisha catered a small family wedding for us and it was perfect. The food was a highlight of the day, the service was exceptional, and Alisha and her team pulled out all the stops to make sure the evening was special. Cannot recommend enough!

We ended up here by chance. The place doesn’t look like much, but dont let the appearance fool you. The food is excellent, very tasty, and the ingredients are locally sourced and prepared with care. The portions are generous and the service very friendly.

Worst place ever. We waited an hour for breakfast. The server forgot to tell the cook our order. Then the cook couldn’t make it. I guess bacon and eggs is hard to make these days. Ended up leaving hungry, cranky and no breakfast

Let me make this as clear as I can. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! We arrived here from the advertisement that they were a part of Lobster Crawl. But we were told that it was promoted incorrectly and their sister restaurant was the one who was serving them. BUT, I am assuming it was one of the owners, said she would run and get 2 for us as long as we were willing to wait for a few minutes. While she was gone another waitress served us drinks and some sweet potato fries (also excellent). Just a few minutes later we were served 2 loaded lobster rolls she had made herself from the recipe and the ingredients. It was so light and flavourful (goddess dressing with tons of fresh herbs on a toasted roll). So delicious! What really nailed this experience was we thought she had run just next door. NOPE, the sister restaurant and recipe was about 300 yards down the road! She went and got this for us because we wanted a lobster roll. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! I will be back for sure!!!
