The Savary Plate Eatery & Pizzeria

Let me make this as clear as I can. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! We arrived here from the advertisement that they were a part of Lobster Crawl. But we were told that it was promoted incorrectly and their sister restaurant was the one who was serving them. BUT, I am assuming it was one of the owners, said she would run and get 2 for us as long as we were willing to wait for a few minutes. While she was gone another waitress served us drinks and some sweet potato fries (also excellent). Just a few minutes later we were served 2 loaded lobster rolls she had made herself from the recipe and the ingredients. It was so light and flavourful (goddess dressing with tons of fresh herbs on a toasted roll). So delicious! What really nailed this experience was we thought she had run just next door. NOPE, the sister restaurant and recipe was about 300 yards down the road! She went and got this for us because we wanted a lobster roll. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! I will be back for sure!!!

I would rate this eating experience as a -1- out of -100- We ordered several pizzas to be picked up as a treat for our lunch at work. The pizzas we received were the worst pizzas I have ever encountered. Pictures were taken as proof of the inferior quality. We ordered several styles and everyone was overcooked and lacked an acceptable amount of the requested toppings. BEWARE The GLUTEN FREE pizza WAS COMPROMISED. I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE AND I AM NOW SICK. I am extremely careful with my diet. It will be weeks of suffering before my body recovers. I have tried without success to have a private conversation with management to address this issue. My messages have advised them this is an issue with a gluten free pizza. That should have been enough of a red flag for management to understand this is a serious issue. A one or two minute conversation is all the time they would have needed to address this matter. Conversation time has expired. I will do my best to try and protect others from getting sick.

I have shared many meals with family and friends over the years at Savary Plate and the food and team never disappoint and are always wonderful. Their breakfast sandwiches are a great 'on the go' solution to a missed breakfast at home and the homemade sausage! Amazing! When you find yourself in Hubbards, be sure to top in and have a bite! Also, if you need catering, the owners operate a local catering company called Smoke and Slate and needless to say, they are super accommodating and willing to work mash up their creative genius with your crazy desires and needs (or should I say my crazy?)

Such a cute place with fantastic decorations and delicious food. We've been here a few times now and everything is always perfect. Special shout out to their bread pudding 😋 You absolutely have to eat here, you won't regret it!

The Savary Plate catered our wedding in Hubbards, NS.

First off, the food was amazing, especially the late night pizza. We had many positive comments on the meal was absolutely fantastic.

Secondly, it’s not the amazing food that makes this place so special, It’s the owners and the staff.

Alisha and April are so welcoming, kind and helpful. They made a stressful day so wonderful by working with our vendors and ensuring we had the perfect day. We can’t thank them enough and can’t recommend them enough to anyone who needs catering.

What made us choose the Savary plate to cater our wedding was a visit to their restaurants. We were greeted so kindly, made to feel very valued and the food they cooked for us was so tasteful and well put together.

10/10 recommend them for any of your food or catering needs.

Lovely little restaurant with great food but I wish I could have tried the pizza. Apparently, it's so good they had a 1.5 hour wait on pizza because they were so backed up. The brisket poutine was delicious and my wife loved the fish and chips.

Great little spot! We got three orders to go and everything was quite delicious.
We had the brisket burger, the chicken burger and the hamburger and thought everything was great! Loved the fries! We took our orders to go and didn't get to try the fries until 20 minutes later, and it was still yummy and crispy with lots of flavors. Price was decent. The only thing though, wished they would automatically include some ketchup to go with our fries without us even asking since we stayed at an Airbnb and didn't have any ketchup there and forgot to ask.

Overall a solid spot!
