Visited Restaurant for a special occasion. Very nice location and good service. Food quality mediocre at best. Everything is served with French Fries but oddly no gravy on the menu. Upgrade price for salad only. Very limited menu. Overall very disappointed with the food. Over priced for the quality and quantity. Nothing special here.
We just enjoyed lunch on the deck but it's exactly the sort of little seaside place one loves to find.
Great food! Incredible view!
We go to Tuna Blue once or twice a year and it never disappoints . Food was delicious and Tracy was probably the best server we’ve had in years. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have been going here for years a couple times during summer and always loved it. Today I booked a table for 245 to hear The Fog. Everything was nice when we arrived... then we waited 45 min til 330 before someone took our order. Everyone arriving after us were being served. Then a completely different waitress was sent to table went check on a wine. She did not come back to tell us if she had that bottle ir not, then arrived with bottle after one lady went bar got her own drink. When manager come to see she told one lady she was rude said we were having a bad day. It was not very pleasant. Then at 445 we were told we had leave table when we booked it day ahead for 3 to 5. They took our wine drinks away. It was a very frustrating and sad day for us planning on having fun with The Fog band. Sad.
Delicious sea food chowder. The spring rolls were amazing. Did not stay at the Inn. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. Cheers!
Our family had a bad experience at the restaurant. Fish and chips were okay.. the carrot are very big and not cut up and there is only 2 carrot. Wraps were very small with one big piece of chicken not cut up or anything so its extrememly hard to eat. Fries are $10 and they are not anything special at all. Gravy is $4!!!!!!!!!!!! Which was not told to me when asked. Drinks taste like NO alcohol was even added. Overalll, we thought it was very over priced and we wont be back. We also had to wait for one persons meals after we all eat. Which would have been nice if we all ate together. Also the spring rolls were $18!!!!! And they were not even the size of my baby finger! Terrible prices!
Nice enough place. Good food

Lovely lunch and views.
I've never written a poor review, ever... But the service here left me distressed. To begin, the chair that my friend (who recommended Tuna Blue) occupied broke, and he collapsed to the floor. Embarrassed, he got up with as much grace as he could muster and brushed it off. Our orders were taken, and app delivered. Then it was an hour of waiting until we asked about our food. A cockamamie excuse was given (an order fell to the floor), yet miraculously appeared within 5 minutes. The food was very good (nod to the chefs). Sadly, the wait staff and hostess were nonchalant. No effort was expended to ameliorate the situation. Do better, Tuna Blue! We are tourists, but our company is local and will not be recommending a restaurant with such poor service in the future.
Great location, beautiful views. Food and cocktail was delicious. Prices are a little high but what you would expect for this type of setting
This review is for the restaurant only. Not far from Halifax lies a little gem in Hubbards Nova Scotia. It is about a pleasant (in good weather) 30 minute drive. It is a gem because of its natural scenic beauty, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and incomparable tranquility. A great place for an afternoon or evening getaway. The service was prompt and efficient and the prices fair. I had the fish and chips that were unfortunately just average. Not to the standard that I expected for a restaurant of this calibre situated metres from the water. The problem is that they use frozen fish which no matter how well prepared will not come close to fresh. If you are not used to the real thing, then this will most certainly suffice. But I am and this did not. Finally the coleslaw was tasteless.
Had lunch at Tuna Blue today, the food was delicious, the spot is gorgeous but the highlight of our lunch was our server, Finn. What a lovely, personable young man, he certainly is in the right profession! I must say all the service was terrific !
Can’t wait to return!
