Café l'Acadie, a SEASONAL liquor-licensed full menu restaurant, opens during the first week of April until the first week of December. It is located 2 km from Nova Scotia's iconic village of Peggy's Cove
Amazing restaurant! We discovered it on a Monday evening at the end of October. The dishes are delicious, especially the Chicken Fricot and the super serene atmosphere, with Acadian music in the background.
The bosses are super nice, calm and welcoming.
Lots of choice also for children.

We had a delightful dinner. The haddock and lobster were fresh and cooked perfectly. The seasonings and sauce were light and very flavorful. Staff were friendly and attentive.

My little Acadian heart was so happy to stumble on this little restaurant on “Rappie Pie Sunday”. It was absolutely delicious and I was informed that it was fresh out of the oven and I even got the corner piece which is the best part of a Rappie pie. You can definitely tell the food is made with heart and it made me even happier to know that the owner is an Acadian which made the experience a lot more special. There’s also little pieces of “Acadie” around the restaurant which made me feel that more at home. I will 100000% be back someday ❤️ Merci Beaucoup!

We tried the lobster. It was good, but it took 40 mins to prepare. Wondering if it was frozen? The service was quiet slow.

Food made with heart. We thought this was one of our best meals in Nova Scotia. Don’t let the unassuming menu fool you. Everything, from au jus to fries to salad dressings, made in house. Try the Rappie Pie Bites. You won’t regret it!

Such a sweet and quaint little restaurant! Our family shared the poutine, fish and chips, Caesar salad, and seafood chowder…everything was excellent and the atmosphere was so restful after a long morning of hiking around the beach. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely incredible fish and chips with the best batter I think I’ve ever tried. I’m glad I found this spot because I’ll be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service was very polite. The salad with lobster meat was very delicious 😋.
The coffee was also as good as the apple cake.
Thank you for that.

Cozy place, the place was almost empty on a september 17th tuesday evening at around 18H, we've been able to get served in french as the owner's french was pretty good.
I ordered:
- sea food chowder which I found very good but I wish has been more creamy
-rappie balls with sour cream wich tasted good
-lobster in cream on waffles wich I tried for the first time and didn't like because I found the sweetness of the cream and the waffle not to be a great match with lobster but I bet is good with chicken.
My dad ordered the pan fried fish with marinated carrots wich was really good and I wished I ordered the same, my mom ordered the fish and chip wich she found was way too big of a portion for her appetite, they served her 2 huge slices covered with good amounts of batter wich were good but she ended up only eating the fish inside the batter shell. Service was good and fast.

Based on reviews and photos, I took my wife here for where we hoped we would enjoy some hearty chowder with a good amount of fresh seafood in it. Unfortunately we left disappointed. Both the Fish and Seafood chowders were overloaded with potato and very little seafood. My “Large” seafood bowl had one small piece of lobster, one small piece of scallop, one piece of haddock and some smaller pieces, a few baby shrimp and some tiny bits and pieces of clam. Doubtful all of it was fresh. So about 80% potato , 20% seafood. And it was just tepid in temperature. The biscuits were ok. On the plus side, The marinated carrots were pretty good. I believe some of the other menu offerings may be good but i also thought that would be the case with the chowder.
