We lucked into getting a table without a reservation on a Wednesday afternoon. Rhubarb is a lovely restaurant. The seafood chowder was outstanding - large chunks of fish and lobster in a milk-based broth (not the gloppy base that most places with chowder serve). The lobster roll was a lobster salad filling in a piece of hollowed out thick white bread, served with the best fries I've had in years. For dessert, get the butter tart - a regional specialty. Great service too.

Lovely staff and tasty food. A great spot to eat if you are visiting Peggy’s Cove or staying at the Oceanstone Seaside resort. It does fill up quick! Make sure to call ahead a reservation, it’s well worth it.

The food was delicious from the very unique spinach salad to the Nova Scotia favorite, Donair pizza and my husband loved his seafood pasta dish. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant on the Atlantic.

We had dinner here and it was in our top three best dinning experiences during our stay in Nova Scotia. We were staying in Peggy’s Cove and glad we drove a couple minutes outside the village to come here. Excellent service and food. Nice they had some gluten free options for my mom. The chocolate salted caramel dessert is INCREDIBLE. If you plan to go to dinner, you might want to make reservations as it appears to be a popular spot!
