Busy restaurant along the Cabot trail, food was good, prices are reasonable. Everyone left full and happy! Note the hours are limited when considering coming here (you should!) and they don’t take reservations.
While traveling the Cabot Trail, we stopped by the Main Street Restaurant and Bakery, and it was an incredible experience. The food was made from scratch - exactly what I always look for - and the real coffee and homemade goods were unbeatable. But what truly made the visit special was the service. We didn’t catch her full name, but her middle name is Chrissy, and she went above and beyond for us in every way. Often when you ask questions, you can feel like you're bothering...

We went here twice because it was very close to the hotel we were staying. The dinner was excellent. We particularly liked the sauteed veggies on rice noodles. It was a tasty and healthy vegetarian option with the right portion of food.
However, the breakfast was not so good. The hollandaise sauce in the eggs Benedict was too sour....
