I wish I could tell you about Highway 19's food or brews but I can't. It was closed the day of my visit even though a cheerful voice on their answering machine said the facility was open 7 days a week, from 11am to10pm. I was there at 3:30pm. Perhaps the phone message should be amended to say, 7 days a week'ish and 11am to 10pm when someone feels like opening the place up. There are no hours of operation on the web site and none on the building (see below). So, before heading out to Highway 19 Brewing ask yourself, how lucky do you feel. Hopefully, luckier than me.

Great service. I've only had one bad night this year, and I went maybe 4 times. The specials are great, and the beer especially. Great price in Wine and the Tai chicken nachos are well worth any visit! Wouldn't recommend the steak, although I've only had it once but the cut was awful. The fish is amazing, and the chicken burger is awesome.

The place wasn’t busy. Dropped in for a drink and bite. Waited 10 minutes for someone to take drink orders then finally went to bar an got ourselves.
Given the inattention decided not to do dinner be opted for seafood chowder. It was tasty but too took along time to get.
Don’t get in a hurry here.

Stopped by while visiting, would definitely skip this one. Servers were amazing! But the food was very bland, greasy and all four of us could barely stomach our meals. The beers consisted of one stout, one sour, one pale ale and mainly IPA’s we did not enjoy any of them.

The food was inedible, including burnt burgers. The beers were not flavourful—there was a very limited selection of mostly IPAs. Only two servers were working, after waiting 20 minutes we ended up pay the bills at the bar.

We were here on a Thursday night. The place was busy, but the service was great. We tried the tasting flights. Very good. Pan fried haddock was good. The chowder was delicious.

Nice place with lovely people. We were looking for a place for lunch while on vacation with our 2 dogs. The day was too hot to leave them in the car but staff were extremely accommodating, allowing us to sit in the patio area with them. They even brought a water bowl for them :) The food was terrific, really hit the spot and the samplers were exactly what my hubby was looking for. Would definitely recommend!

We were really surprised about this place. The food was quite excellent only bettered by the service. I must admit we just did not expect this from a brewery. My wife and I had the pan fried haddock, which was absolutely wonderful! It was super fresh, flavorful, prepared excellently. We also had the seafood chowder, which was one of the best we’ve ever had! The vegetables that accompanied the fish were cooked perfectly. The sweet potato french fries were crispy, perfectly salted (lightly) and delivered hot, like many other places do not serve them. Lastly I will say that this meal would NOT have been the same without the outstanding service of our waitress Chloe. She was so professional, efficient, conscientious and caring! We were impressed! And rarely write these reviews by the way Almost failed to mention that sitting outside on the porch in fresh air but protected by direct wind and sun because of the plexiglass design of the railing and umbrellas was outstanding also! Kudos to owners also!
