This is one of if not the best restaurant we have ever been to.
We l loved our food. Zucchini crisps were delicious and are vegan without the dipping sauces. The vegan cauliflower dish was done instead with squash because they didn’t have cauliflower. It was absolutely amazing. We also got the seacuterie board, seafood chowder and smash burger.
Our waitress from Massachusetts was so nice and the service was great. We didn’t want a cocktail but just the Glen Breton in a shot and she brought it for us.
This restaurant alone makes it worth coming to Cape Breton. It is a bit expensive but worth it. We definitely will be back here. I wish they were open all day and all year!

Our last dinner of our golf trip was definitely the most delicious. Great views of a fall sunset, duck confit poutine, halibut, and a pineapple mule were just some of the highlights. If you are in town for any reason, stop in and enjoy!

Fabulous experience, was recommended by a local and they certainly didn't disappoint! They were busy but everyone was so nice, friendly, even though they were all hopping!! We had the Halibut and the Pork belly + Scallops and both were amazing! The view was awesome and the little kitty roaming around the outskirts was sooo sweet!! So glad we stopped in 👍🏻🌞

My meal at The Annex was out of this world. I had the pork belly and scallops and they were so good it's hard to describe. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing, and you could tell they put a lot of care into how it was presented. It was easily the best meal I've had in ages.
