Ran out of chips for the artichoke dip, ran out of the ravioli, before 6:45. How does this happen? Staff were very good. A bit disappointed.

Food was okay, had chowder which was mostly potato. Husband had a sandwich and they brought out his garden salad with cheese, he had a dairy allergy so they brought it back and he never got his salad and we didn’t see our waitress again. Horrible service.

I've never seen so many servers to take care of the diners! The atmosphere was wonderful, good and spacious, and the food portions for the price you pay! I've seen a haddock that big and fresh with a crispy batter that was delicious with the Tatar sauce!
Did I mention that the staff are super friendly with smiles!

2 stars is low and here’s why. Salmon entree was an extremely small piece for the price ($30 I think). Even the server agreed it looked small. She said she told the kitchen management but no one did anything about it or offered us an alternative or a dessert or something. The fish and chips was decent. Atmosphere is a 19th hole golf players bar. 80% golf dudes and loud. If that’s your things then great. Otherwise look elsewhere in this small town.

Had a delightful bowl of seafood chowder here and my friend had some delicious looking wings. Third friend had a very generous salad. The onion rings lacked any flavour. A live musician appeared during our meal and that was also a delight! It’s very much the spot for the golfers.

Chelsea, the food & beverage manager is the most kind, caring and pleasant person my husband and I encountered on our trip. We came to cape breton for our honeymoon, and since it was early may there was not much open. We booked a reservation for dinner at Whits at cabot Golf course, as my husband loves golf and this was a bucket list thing for him. Chelsea called me the morning of our reso to inform me that there was a mistake and they will actually be closed- the reservations were not blocked off mistakingly. But she knew it was a special occasion- our honeymoon. She genuinely felt terrible. and was willing to do anything it took to still make a memorable experience for us. She offered to have the Chef make something to- go for us as there weren't other food options nearby open. When we got there she was so very kind and gracious. She offered to give us a private tour walking onto the greens of the course - which made my husbands whole trip. They prepared a delicious meal for us to- go included with starters, mains, deserts and drinks. I can't say enough about this establishment but specifically Chelsea. They are lucky to have someone who is so passionate about what they do. Thank you!!
