I’ve been to the weasel many times, but decided to do a review on my last trip because it was absolutely delicious. I walked in and ordered a Donair with the works(tomatoe,onion, cheese, sauce)and a bacon garlic fingers. I watched one of their TV’s while waited for my order & when I got home, it was still piping hot and my family and I agree that it was perfect.
You know what you’re getting and the food Is always above average and the price is comparable to others in the area. I find the customer service lacks. I don’t know if it’s the language barrier, and the fact that they always wear masks But it is very hard to understand the owner and his wife on the phone and even in person. He also rolled his eyes and was visibly angry when I couldn’t understand him and it’s not the first time it’s happened as I have lived in lake...
Easily my favourite low-medium cost pizza place in the HRM, and their non-pizza foods are done extremely well as well. I really appreciate that they have a vegan cheese option as well, especially one that does not taste like sawdust.
The owners do a really great job, and have created one of the better food spots in Atlantic Canada.
