I have been to Winnie's several times and enjoyed several different things. I would say as far as food goes it's one of the best places to eat in Cape Breton for food quality and value for money.
Very good meal at an affordable price. I chose the bacon cheeseburger which came with a mountain of fries. I loved it.
The homemade fish and chips were very generous too. The portions of poutine were very large.
The charming decorations and children's games around were appreciated during the waiting time.
Parking: It is large enough to accommodate several cars.

Also be prepared it’s cash only. We didn’t know this prior so couldn’t afford the fish and chips which is what we both originally wanted. However we both love burgers so we both go a bacon cheeseburger. Waited about 20 minutes as the place was super busy. The food came out in large portions ,hot and fresh. They have a few picnic tables , and a few yard games surrounding there...
