Great food. But be prepared and go hungry, as portions are large. Loved the schnitzel in mushroom gravy.

We had an excellent brunch here! The food was incredible, even my former chef husband was raving about the food days later and that never happens! The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that we received. Our server even gave us restaurant recommendations for other areas we were travelling too! She was polite, checked in often, all qualities of a great server. Also they have in house made sausage that was to die for! Highly recommend!

Incredible food with generous portions. The server checked in with us multiple times and had a great recommendation for the menu. We ordered the schnitzel (café de Paris) and cauliflower bowl. Both were extremely flavorful. We, and our 9 year old, definitely recommend this restaurant.

Booked a night in Liverpool with full intention to dine at a different spot but thankfully my wife did some digging and found Pauls.. it was getting late but decided to toss the dice and thankfully we got in for the last service.. not sure what to say other then if your in Nova Scotia and get a hankering for authentic German cuisine, you need to check this place out.. amazing food (limited sample size.. schnitzel x3) but can't wait to explore the menu.. thanks again chef Hans.. we can't wait for our next visit!!

Off season, late September, the kitchen is still on their game. The "Hunter" Schnitzel was amazing. It covered the plate, the brown mushroom sauce was flavourful, salty but not overly so. The schnitzel was seasoned perfectly. The potatoes are an excellent accompaniment. (I have no idea how much butter and cream was in them, but probably a lot!) Even the salad had much attention paid to it: everything was cut up small and dressed nicely. Wife had the Sauerbraten (typical large portion!) and she ate it all up. (And she usually has modest portions at supper.)

Good food and atmosphere with outdoor patio or indoor dining. Staff polite and prompt. Limited parking on premises but room across the street sometimes.
