Definitely worth a visit!We visited in Feb during Winter and needed the warm up, but that also meant no wait. I will presume that it is very busy in the summer though. Update: Wow 3rd online order, since our visit to Nova Scotia. I can guarantee that the delivery is top notch! I haven't found any rum cream this good in Quebec and with its 20% alcohol content it's perfect. I ordered some for all my friends. Not too sweet, very good taste. The Harvest rum is excellent as well as the boat rum. I am in love with this distillery.During our vacation in Nova Scotia we visited the distillery, super beautiful and their rum excellent. They were out of Maple rum cream so when we returned we waited for it to become available and ordered it online plus a little extra of the rum boat rum. The shipping price is quite high but it is worth it, the packaging is super secure, no worries about finding the broken bottles. We will definitely recommend online! Well done, beautiful place and good alcohol!

We took a tour here this summer, which was a definite highlight of the trip! Our guide was amazing, kind and interesting. She kept us laughing and informed for longer than anticipated. They were generous with the tastings, and allowed us to linger and participate in the labeling. A fun and unique experience, which felt very personal due to the small size. Definitely recommend it!

The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and articulate about the various products that they sell.They sell a wide variety of spirits, from Gin to Bourbon.The bottles are very decorative so their products make great gifts for people back home.The Bluenose personifies Nova Scotia for sure.

We came here on a Sights and Spirits tour, the new 3-in-1 tour in the Lunenburg Walking Tours. I’m not much of a spirits drinker, but the Distillery tour was a lot of fun! Not only do you learn about the distillery industry/production, but you also learn about the history of the building which is SO cool!The tour guide, Meg, gave us very reasonable samples of all kinds of rum, liquor, and gin. My favourite was the vodka and the maple rum cream!
Enjoyed popping in to taste some rum and gin. Lots of different options to try. The 10 year old rum is fantastic.

Terrific local distillery and even more amazing history behind the location which used to be a local blacksmith location. The tour was awesome and the tasting was just as good.I had no idea the ship used in Pirates of the Caribbean was originally built here.

Cool metal street signs leading the way to Ironworks. We were visiting through a cruise ship excursion and Ironworks was recommended. Good rum, nice staff, bought a couple glasses, just wish I could have bought a bottle of rum.
