Well everything there is incredible.. but if you’re a real original Nova Scotian and you want an original “ Bubba Sub “ from times past… here is the place on the south shore to get it. Donair sauce on point , donair meat perfect. The sub bun. The garlic made by the same circle of friends that em them for us in high school … this is where you go.
This is certified by Nova Scotians as the absolute real deal. You can eat inside like a tourist or take that bubba sub down to the water so you can enjoy it while making fun of that one dorey that will never sell.
Do it Proper , you ! This place is perfect in all its originality true to the east coast!!!

My wife and I went looking for lunch on the waterfront in Lunenburg just after a huge tour bus had parked and emptied, turning a five minute wait into a 30 minute wait. So we headed up one block to Montague St where we found a quiet gem of a pizza plus shop; J3 Pizza. They advertise as a pizza / Mediterranean grill and it didn’t disappoint. It’s small, so they don’t accommodate big groups but they have a nice menu selection, ranging from pizza to fish and chips. We tried the donairs and found them stuffed with meat and delicious. Skip the lines and enjoy.

We shared a deep fried donair panzarotti and it was delicious. It was huge and filled with toppings. The service was great and the view from the deck overlooking the water was great.

The owner told us this was gonna be the best pizza we ever had, and he was NOT kidding! This was hands down the best pizza ive ever eaten! Staff was friendly and made time for small talk, very patient given the fact that we were a group of 13 tourists in there. If youre in the area, you better stop in!

Have lived here for five years now. Absolutely best donairs in the hemisphere! The staff are wonderfully pleasant, you just need to actually talk to them. My wife and I live them all. For all those who have criticized, take a good look at how you treat people. The J3 family are spot on and we will ALWAYS keep coming back!!!
We tried this place today and what a mistake we made. The stood for good 10 mins before they took our order the staff was clueless. We ordered chicken poutine , large Greek pizza and large tropical chicken pizza. All three things were soo blah and tasteless. We were surprised that how can you put all the ingredients and still mess up. Such a huge disappointment.

Very rude delivery driver who puts on a nice guy act when delivery waiting an hour just to have to call asking about are food. They literally forgot. Anyway told us they would be coming soon mind you We ordered pizza and garlic fingers. The guy only came with the pizza then told multiple people the garlic fingers would be free. Well that didn’t happen they charged us 20 for them so I call to see what the misunderstanding was and got yelled at “No no you listen to me now” when trying to explain my side of it so I said ok no your not doing that and basically told them that what they did isn’t ok and that they lost multiple customers. Don’t waste the money for delivery also can barely hear them on the phone.
