Very unique business. We enjoyed ciders, appetizers, and coffee the next day all in one location. The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere also. Great views while enjoying adult beverages!

Nice place with food, coffee and of course beers. Server was somewhat disinterested. Beers and ciders were good. Nice view of Lunenburg and the harbour. Pizza looked good, although we didn't buy it having just had lunch in Mahone Bay.

We went to Lightship to try their locally brewed beers, but we're disappointed to find that they were sold out of all except 4 of them. It's a good sign for them though that there is such demand of course. That being said, the 4 they did have in stock were great, and the service was incredible.

Your experience here is probably going to vary greatly on how busy it is and if you're having alcoholic drinks. I go here semi-regularly, so there is no doubt I enjoy it, but some aspects will bother others more.First off, Lightship certainly has one of the best views in town. The proximity to the harbour is essentially unrestricted. The large patio is a fun venue for shows, I've had some really great food here, and the staff is always friendly. Lots of pluses.On the other hand, the price of beer can be pretty high and that starts to add up if you're there for a longer event. While all my food has been good, I have experienced some really long wait times when all of the tables are full. Perhaps when everyone happens to be ordering similar things. Finally, if it's rainy, seating is unfortunately much more restricted.None of this stops me from going, because it's a good time and feels unique among the options in town. Just things to keep in mind, so that your experience fits your expectations.

Spectacular spot to sit and enjoy the beauty of Lunenburg. With the downtown waterfront to one side and the golf course to the other. Fresh air, cold beer, outstanding woodfield pizza, and a great Cafe. This spot has a little something for everyone. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area.

Came from a recommendation and we decided to give it a try.Brewery first and of course a menu of items from fries and mushroom gravy to wood fired pizzas.Plenty on tap along with cold drinks/brews in their coffee bar. Plenty of variety for tourists and locals alike.We ate on the patio and enjoyed the views of Lunenberg from across the bay.
