Seasonal veggies.. they serve carotte with green peas. Shrimp are fresh frozen. Lots of flies in the restaurant. All young waitress seams to lack experiences. Do not recommend.

A restaurant which cares neither about its food nor its appearance. The chowder was mush and may well have been made some time ago.The Caesar salad was truly awful. Too much (probably bottled) dressing, awful croutons, tasteless cheese and commercial ‘bacon bits’ - what were they doing there? No anchovies.Having said all that, the waitress was fine, the beers were good and they refunded us for the salads.

(Translated by Google) Very fresh food, clean and good service !!!(Original)Comida muy fresca, limpio y buen servicio!!!
Let’s start off with the positives. The patio overlooks the water and golf course across, the view is great. The waitress was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and efficient. The food is where this place seemed to falter. The clams were a bit small, the scallops were over done, and the salmon was also way over cooked. Everything tasted fine but the preparation could have been much better. I was there in the evening so the sun wasn’t an issue but those who go during the day might get a little too much sun.
Can't speak to the food so I won't. We went in to be seated, and immediately left after being escorted to an area with a literal SWARM of flies in it. Disgusting.
We did not eat here but we feel the reviews are a little harsh - give these guys a chance and take into consideration the majority of the negative reviews have major typos.
The food was great and the service too. Be warned, the balcony overlooks the docks, which is great, but very loud. Trucks, kids screaming and boat horns will be distracting. It's not the restaurants fault but it is a reality.
Lovely restaurant with delicious well balanced meals and a nice selection of delectable appetizers and mains. Interesting tasting menus with accompanying wines selected for each course. The restaurant is sadly closing its doors after October 13, 2018. Very sad to see them go. Excellent restaurant over the years with good service throughout
We really wanted to try Fleur de Sel as we heard they were closing. We have eaten @ the other restaurants owned by the same people & loved them! It was a fabulous experience with amazing food & service! Our only complaint is that next weekend is when they will no longer be operating..... we will contunue to support The Fish Shack, The Oyster Bar, The Salt Shaker Deli & look forward to trying The Beach Pea! Great job with all & as you continue to provide quality food with the fabulous service , we highly recommend any endevour you would embark on to our family & friends! Cheers, Jan & Dan

It was our anniversary. Would have appreciated any acknowledgement. Server was ok but we had to listen to the other server explain the dishes. Decided to skip dessert as we weren't having the best time. Did the tomatoe salad appetizer- nice flavours except for the tomatoe sorbet - combo didn't really go with the rest. Husband had lobster good flavour small portion already shelled which was nice. I had beef again well cooked nice presentation. Overall very expensive for an ok meal.
Excellent restaurant. I would consider this in the top 10 in Nova Scotia. As they are closing forever after 16 years in operation, I would highly recommend eating there the next 3 weeks.
A perfect evening with a special friend. Service impeccable as always, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We both ordered the steak, it was cooked to perfection. As a new "local" I am sad this lovely restaurant is closing but I will continue to frequent and support the other restaurants owned by these lovely people.
Elegant and comfortable in a wonderful old house. Very welcoming. Food service was leisurely as seemed appropriate. Extremely congenial server. Good teamwork among staff. Delicious from beginning to end.
Probably the best restaurant in the maritimes. It will be sad when its gone and we're glad we got to eat a last meal there before it shuts down this fall. Incredibly consistent. It will leave on top.
