Salt Shaker is my absolute Favourite restaurant in Nova Scotia! The best atmosphere, people, drinks and the food is INCREDIBLE. The Scallop Linguine is my go to! And they do mussels so perfectly. Their Chocolate Mousse is the best for dessert!!! Whenever we have visitors in town this is the must stop on the list. Highly highly recommend you check them out!
A fund spot to go eat. It's very expensive but the food taste awesome, even though portions are pretty small. I do enjoy the place but if on a budget I wouldn't bother. There are a lot of places in the town.

So come by and meet the gang lead by double trouble Tara & Claire. Food ambiance location and selection of pints.
Food and drinks: Tomato soup -amazing! Garlic cheese bread was perfect compliment for it. Cheesecake (cookie dough) was in top 3 of my life. Great value for money ($40 with tip and im overfull and so happy with everything!)
Claire was my server, and she was beyond attentive, helpful and fun! These people seem to really enjoy their jobs, and it shows.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was on my list of places to go when in Lunenburg. I had plenty of seafood in Nova Scotia so at this point, I decided to try something else. I had the sausage rigatoni and it was excellent! I also just loved the atmosphere of the restaurant in general. Had a cool vibe to it. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent food presentation and wonderful staff we drove all the way from Massachusetts to eat here LOL JK
Very nice place to eat 🙂
Amazing. Lovely staff and delicious food - with gluten free options!
The chowder was amazing! Our waitress Claire was 10/10, made our visit even better! Food and service - 5 stars! Highly recommend eating here if you’re visiting the area.

Went for lunch but didn't stay at the inn,
Overall food was good but the chowder was incredible! My wife didn't like the spice on the lobster roll but I enjoyed it.
Prices were reasonable and service was fast. Beautiful view of the harbour while eating

You know how you feel when you walk in a place and feel not welcomed, that’s how I felt dining at this place. I am a person of colour and felt the color discrimination just on the staff’s face and more specifically on our waitress’s face, tone and behaviour. We sat and the waitress already gives a vibe that we should make a quick order, zero patience. The place was very small and no air circulation. Same waitress did not seem pleased when we asked her to open a window to get some air in. I think the main negative experience I had over that day is because of this lady. It’s just sad to take a day off to get away from work and be treated unkindly by a person who is not happy with their job or life. The food was alright and the chef who served the food was pleasant and nice. We really appreciate the food served and the time spent preparing it. If you are a person of colour I would recommend you to dine at a different place just so you can enjoy your time and I myself would unfortunately not visit this place again.

As a tourist passing through the city, I enjoyed the seafood at this small, cozy restaurant. However, it did feel a bit crowded, with little space between tables, and it could get noisy due to its popularity and the lines of people waiting.

The deli was located in a convenient location and we sat outside and it provided a really great view of the waterfront.
The service was a bit slow honestly but it was a busy day, about 40ish minutes between ordering our food and receiving our orders.
The food was adequate for its price. I got chicken salad sandwich that was ok, and the soup on the side was good. Pizza was also ok. Good spot for a quick bite.

Clam is good but not the pizza
Food and drinks: Service is ok, guests crowded
We had dinner here and were very disappointed. The seafood chowder was horrible, with smoked fish and even the broth and potatoes tasted like smoke. The gnocchi was ok, but too salty and completely overpriced at $24. The service was very mediocre for Nova Scotia standards.
Food and drinks: Not recommended
