Shipwright Brewing Company Taproom + Pizza

Went with a couple friends for dinner on Sunday. I ordered the lobster roll at $32. The photo on the Facebook page is very deceiving. barely any lobster, all roll. It did have good flavor but the amount served was very disappointing. My friends ordered garlic fingers and pizza. Both were very over cooked. Don't think we'll go back even though the atmosphere and beverages are quite nice.

We had to ask for both of our coffee refills as our waitress was absent. I’ve eaten a million eggs Benedict before and never has the server assumed I’d want them cooked medium! That is not the default and if she was confused she should’ve asked me how I’d like them cooked..when she never came back to ask us how our meal was I asked for another server to get her. When I told her my eggs were overcooked, rather than offering to remake them she argued with me about how medium is the norm and she walked away..wow just wow..that never should’ve happened..especially for $20 eggs..do better..

The boa and pizza are so good! Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended! We came here for an early lunch. Will be back for dinner! Yes! It’s this good. Yum!

I did not expect to have some of the best pizza of my life here! Dropped in at 3pm on a Friday so it was fairly empty. My husband got a flight of beers and he enjoyed all of them. We for the Detroit style pizza and it was crispy, cheesy, and soft all at once. Service was great too. The pizza took a bit to come out but it’s done fresh and it being a thicker crust, it’s to be expected. The waterfront view was also so nice.

1 hour waiting for pizza and dessert. Horrible service. If you parking somewhere around, pay for 2 hours or choose another place for breakfast.

May 8th, 2025… Just been back… not sure why it took over 1hr to get wings and haddock bites. No apologies or explanation for the delays… just very slow service. Had to ask where the food was or when it was coming…. Other groups around us were also waiting for food, bill or just service… Willl go back, but was a disappointing experience this time…

Great place. Views are amazing and both the food and service are excellent. The menu offers a bunch of options for everybody and there’s no lack of beer selection (amongst other options too). Will become a great hangout once we move there…

It's a very delicious restaurant. The view is also very good, so I was happy while eating. I visited to taste the Battle of the Burgers in particular, and the burgers were really delicious.

Came in here twice in November just for beers, didn't eat. They have a very eclectic selection on tap which includes some guest taps and non-beer options. Something for everyone.

Come for the beer, but stay for the view! Grab a table by the window if you happen to find one available.

Great beers on tap. You can take them to-go from the Taproom in a growler bottle. Restaurant has a fantastic panorama view of the warf. Solid bar fare.
