This is one of our favourite restaurants, we had family visiting from away and we had to take them here! We had our 1 year old son with us and our waitress Leah was great she brought his food out early so he wasn’t waiting and did so well accommodating our group.

Not great service! Sat for 15 mins before having to flag down one of two servers in the restaurant. Each one apparently thinking we were their table. Everyone around us getting served. The food was just okay, eggs were cold, gas browns needed a couple more minutes on the grill.
Best part was the view!

Awful awful service! Right from waiting to be seated, our host/server would barely acknowledge us. She gave us lounge seats to sit at, which only had 3 chairs ( we were 4). When I pointed out to provide an additional chair, she legit rolled her eyes!
The table behind us was kind enough to mention they're waiting to pay and we can have their table (they also mentioned they've been waiting to pay for sometime). We grudgingly sat down. We waited for 15 mins. 3 servers came and went to all tables. No one came to even give us the menu, let alone take our orders.
That was more than enough. We were done. We walked out and came to Brigantine Inn.
I can understand that the place may be understaffed or has a lot of issues they were managing. But a kind response and just mentioning they'll be with us, would have been enough.

Thanks for ruining our 30th anniversary breakfast. Waited 15 minutes this morning for someone to bus one of the empty tables so we could sit down. Ordered then waited an hour while at least 3 other tables came in after us, ordered and were served before we finally gave up and left. Server never checked in with us, never offered to refill coffee and claimed our food was just about ready when we said we’re leaving. Worst service ever. And yet had a great experience meeting the brewmaster and tasting beer yesterday. You managed to start our anniversary on an awful note. Zero stars.

Just stopped in as we had free time after our arranged tour….what a treat. We had a couple beers in the brewery portion of the building. Brewmaster was super nice. We chatted for a long time. We were treated like we were old friends. Absolutely loved this place !!! Too bad we live in Minnesota.

I visited with a group of friends for lunch, and we shared the large Grilled Pineapple + Pork Belly Detroit-style pizza. It was fantastic! The crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and the size was more than enough to feed three people. Just a heads-up: the pizzas are made fresh and can take up to 30 minutes to come out, but it’s absolutely worth the wait.

We wanted to like it, as craft beer and food lovers but we were very disappointed. The session ale was old (to the point of having a hint of sour and nearly flat though not a cask beer). The can of Garrison was old (and basically a yeasty/protein snowglobe but obviously not the fault of Shipwright though I wonder if anyone is watching can production dates). Sad to get the artichoke dip to find it was a cold dish not served hot as is normal (worth mentioning on the menu). Most disappointing was the fish and chips - Very oily, 5 or 6 small pieces that were mostly batter so we actually received very little fish for the price. Not sure how this item differs from haddock bites. Service was very friendly, and there’s a great view of the waterfront.
