My 2nd time, we were hungry and nothing open but subway for a quick bite anyway. 3 tiny tacos with a tablespoon of meat, sad looking taco with store bought white tortilla and I think it was a teaspoon pickle onion....little purple cabbage no flavor on the side. Love a good smoke meat but last time, my friends sandwich was nothing special she said.

The food was incredible, all of it! The smell of this place really needs to be captured in a scented candle. What really caught my attention was the jerk chicken. Not too spicy but full of flavour. I’m going to be a return customer!

Walking by and had to stop in. As an avid bbq’er myself and enjoyed eaten in many Texas bbq establishments, Smoke Pitt is the real deal. Brisket burnt ends and the beans were outstanding. Thank you for accommodating by request to convey the elotes to Esquites: outstanding. Tacos were great and awesome being the real deal corn tortillas. Service was excellent and the passion for real bbq comes through completely in the food. Thank you and we will be back again and again.

My wife and I visited for a 2nd time on Friday October 24. We had the brisket sandwich, cornbread, upsize Mac and cheese and an order of brisket. Everything was amazing. Awesome friendly service and incredible BBQ. Our new favorite spot in Lunenburg.

The brisket was tasty but with lots of fat on top. My understanding is that brisket should not have fat on it. The chips seemed stale and the 2 dips that came with the chips were surprisingly flavorless. The Jerk chicken sandwich also had very little flavour.

Absolutely the best Mac-n-cheese with smoked brisket I have ever tasted anywhere. The balance between the thick creamy cheese sauce and the smoked brisket is comfort food for the soul. The baked beans were heaven in a cup. The rich bold sweet and smokey flavors are perfection. I have traveled all over the world and the Southwest in the USA is known for brisket and beans. However, The Smoke Pit in Lunenberg Nova Scotia Canada has set a new world standard for smoked brisket and baked beans. Worth every penny and a nice generous amount of food as well. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in to pick up a rack of ribs and decided to get Elote, Mexican street corn. $7.50 for an ear of corn. 'Magin!!
Since my love for smoked ribs is strong, I decided to eat the Elote first. Omg!!! The Elote was AMAZING. I was pretty skeptical that any corn could be worth $7.50, but boy was I wrong. I'm honestly thinking that next time I go, I might just order four ears for supper and nothing else.
I have no idea what is on Elote, although I'm pretty sure one topping was fresh Parmesan. There's a hint of spice to add a little excitement, but I honestly don't know what was on it, nor do I care. It really was the best corn EVER.
The ribs.... the ribs were good, nice smoke flavour, and the rack was huge. I could only eat half a rack with my corn. I definitely ordered too much, but I have half a rack of slow smoked ribs for leftovers. Definitely can't complain about that.
The unfortunate part of my meal was eating the corn first. It ruined me for the ribs. I love ribs, I love steak, I love bacon, but this corn might be the most delicious thing I've eaten in a long time.
Thank you Smoke Pitt BBQ for such an awesome supper!!

Stopped in Lunenburg for a day visit and wanted to get something to eat. After carefully debating the options between tourist traps vs quality of food. We decided on here.
Walked in and its much smaller then it looks outside. First thing you notice is the order here sign at the counter. So its up to you to grab a menu and get ready.
In the time that we got the menu and decided on what to order the indoor tables had all filled up. (Maybe room for about 20 ppl)
So we ordered and decided to eat on the roof top patio which had a great view of the street!
Food was ready in about 15 minutes which was amazing considering there was only 2 workers on a busy Thanksgiving day Sunday.
Glad we went with Quality over tourist trap as the food was excellent.
Overall highly recommend this place as they have something for everyone in the family. Amazing Staff and great food!

Fantastic burnt ends, beans to write home about, and pulled pork. Among the best BBQ joints outside the U.S., bar none.

Great options. Not only the brisket Mac and cheese and jerked pulled chicken was great. The cornbread was to die for. Rooftop seating overlooking the harbor was an added plus. Fast service as well.

Amazing options, with 90% of items being gluten free! Smoked brisket was delicious and portion was very large. We sat on outdoor deck which was very relaxing! Highly recommend as a non seafood option !
