We had lunch at Smoke Pitt BBQ on a beautiful day in July and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich and paired it with an IPA. The brisket itself was quite tasty and the pickles and the bun that made up the sandwich complimented the flavour of the meat nicely. My son ordered the 2 meat BBQ platter and he said it too was delicious. We sat on the rooftop patio, which was pleasant on such a nice day. Overall, an enjoyable lunch.

I took 3 guests to the Smoke Pitt today for dinner. They were out of brisket and pulled pork. We ended up ordering 2 Texas Ribs, a jerk chicken wings and a meaty Mac and cheese. The ribs were terrible. They were hard and you could not pull them apart. I certainly couldn’t cut them apart with the wooden fork and knife provided! The meaty Mac and cheese was endemic looking, lacked a cheesy flavour and were generally underwhelming. The jerk wings were the best of the bunch but lacked any sort of real heat. Overall we threw away more than we ate and I was embarrassed that I brought guests there. I would not recommend this place nor will I return.

Love this place! I am from the south and eat BBQ in the Carolinas, Alabama, Georgia, and this place is just as good! Had the burnt ends, pulled pork, beans, and slaw. Delicious! The local beer and wine were also good! Plus, the location is right off the dock with indoor or rooftop seating, away from the crowded main street. Nice respite!

My husband, mother-in-law and I drove by and thought he this looks like it could be good. We aren’t real big seafood fans. We had the BBG platter to share and everything on it was amazing from the cornbread to the coleslaw and everything in between. If we’re ever in lunenburg again it will be one of the first stops to make.
A nice, cozy spot with smoke house interior. I always have a bit of mixed feelings from here. The food is obviously prepared very well however the prices don’t match the portions. And you want portions for bbq. I had a brisket sandwich and it was very tasty but low of brisket and the side coleslaw is almost not there. Mac and cheese was quite good (not $8 side food)

The Corn bread is probably the best I've ever had. We got the BBQ platter and the meat was so juicy and made to perfection. We were served by Tammy and the service was amazing 10/10 recommend such a wonderful person and place!!!!

Went for an early supper last night and we were so impressed! Had the brisket sandwich and the BBQ platter. Brisket sandwich was so good, beautiful brisket on a lightly toasted chiabatta bun with the best thin sliced dill pickles on it I've ever had! What an amazing compliment to the brisket. BBQ platter was a great way to try multiple meats and the Mac and cheese and cornbread sides were wonderful!! Can't wait to go back!

When we were in Lunenburg last year this place was closed (we got there too late). Luckily this year we arrived there earlier. It was easy to find the place. All we had to do was follow the smell of the smokers. Very nice place. Didn't go up to the roof top seating as the weather was a bit chilly. Will try to go earlier in the year next year. The menu is easy to read and the prices were OK. The cornbread and the slaw were amazing. The burnt ends where very tasty and generous we felt that the smoking was just a tad to strong. PERSONAL OPINION HERE. The tacos were great but could have used a bit more meat. All that being said we will be going back here again for sure.
