Trying for a third time to destroy a publicly owned protected area to build a golf course is some Bond villain levels of B.S. 👎👎

Review of The Cabot Bar
While the outdoor atmosphere at The Cabot Bar remains absolutely stunning — one of the main reasons we've returned here over the years — unfortunately, our recent visit was a complete miss in terms of both service and food.
We waited 25 minutes before we were even offered a beverage, which set a disappointing tone for the rest of the experience. I ordered the harvest salad, and my husband had the fish and chips. Sadly, neither dish met expectations. My salad had a noticeably off, almost rotten taste — the sweet potatoes were brown and unpleasant, prompting me to return the dish. My husband’s fish and chips were equally underwhelming: the portion included just about 10 fries, many of which were raw on the inside, and the coating on the fish had a bitter flavor that overpowered the dish. He also noted it didn't taste like haddock.
To their credit, our server did speak with the kitchen staff, and we were not charged for the food — only for the beverages, which we appreciated.
We’ve always enjoyed this place, but this visit was disappointing. We hope it was just an off day and not a sign of declining standards

Have been here several times and never disappointed in the food we have chosen. The fish and chips were very good ,the lobster roll well done, pork schnitzel and fish tacos.
The tacos are only on the lunch menu now and are changed from last year . I preferred the original recipe better. Love them with the very good margaritas!
We have had Arun as our server in the Panorama and the bar. He is an excellent and personable employee.

After staying at Cabot for 4 nights, our best meal was at Cabot Bar for our first lunch. Highly recommend the chowder that comes with a soft biscuit and lobster roll with fries. You also can’t miss the Cabot Ale stopping in after your round at Links to watch other groups finish up all afternoon and night.

We ate here the other night on the patio with our one year old. It was a very hot day so the kitchen was serving a limited menu. It also seemed very busy as all the outdoor tables were taken. Regardless of the situation the food and the service were top notch. The serving staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had the peach and prosciutto flatbread as an appetizer, a club sandwich, and the chicken bowl. All of the food was delicious. Our server apologized profusely for how long it took for the appetizer to arrive, but honestly we didn’t even notice how long it was. It seemed like a reasonable amount of time and we were able to sit and enjoy the view while waiting. We will definitely be back again.

Don’t let the name fool you, this is a high end restaurant with an amazing menu featuring elevated cuisine. Definitely worth making a trip to Cabot for this meal even if you don’t plan on golfing. We had the scallops, and the flatbread for appetizers and the pasta a steak for our mains. Everything was excellent. Not often do I eat somewhere where everything exceeds my expectations. Finished it off with the best dulce de Leche cheesecake I have ever had.

Steak and eggs consisted of precooked beef that was tough. This same item at Foxharbr was way better with a freshly cooked steak, that was cooked perfectly. Other items were adequate, as was the service.

We didn't really have high expectations but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and how delicious the food was. Chicken Tikka yum yum! Service was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
